Sigh, these shoes are so freaking cute. They don’t make my feet look huge and not having to tie my laces was a huge plus. But they aren’t comfortable. Limited support in the heel area. I added my orthodic insoles which kind of helped. Then I took them out for a short walk around the neighborhood. My bunion started hurting immediately. The toe box is small so I went up a size but I have narrow feet so they weren’t very secure feeling after that. As cute as they are I’m traveling to Europe a trip and there’s no way I could wear these.

I was prompted to write this review about my new Clude 5 waterproof shoes after reading the rather uncomplimentary review. Upon receiving these new shoes, my initial reaction was - oh my - these are going to be too small. However, giving them a chance, I used a shoehorn to get them on (after inserting my orthotics). I had ordered my usual size and once they were on, they fit fine and are very comfortable. The black color and the trim look of these shoes will make it possible for me to wear them almost anywhere in New York. I haven’t been out in the rain yet, but that promises to be an extra dividend with these shoes. I could not be more pleased.

Definitely size up. I normally wear a 6.5 but got a 7 and it was perfect. Shoe is narrow, but after a few wears, it will feel comfortable. Shoe retains its shape and is def waterproof. Not bulky feeling. Has optional laces if you want to change up. Has more cushion than the original ON. I bought 2 pairs and love them! Definitely recommend.

I was a big fan of REI and have purchased so many items through them. I though their service was better than other company. But in this purchase, I was not so happy with the purchase and REI customer service. The shoes was way small and tight so I compared with other shoes that I have. It was so small and this European company made wrong measurement in the U. S. I called customer service to return it, but she was not willing to waive $5.99. I have to pay $6 for return it and pack it and have to go to USPS.. too much hassle from On Cloud's wrong measurement. I was also disappointed at REI customer service. They don't know they would lose a steady customer like me due to this bad service.

I ordered my size (6) and a 6.5 since the brand says to size up… but when I went to go pick up the shoes I was able to try on both sizes and the size 6 still fit me the best. I returned the other pair right away and went home. I started wearing my new sneakers around the house to break them in… but OMG THEY HURT SO BADLY. I have the orginal On Cloud shoes and they are soooo extremely bouncy and comfortable! But the waterproof shoes, are either super loose on the top of my foot (when with the regular laces in) or are rubbing my heel really badly. Love the previous design but this newest version (Cloud 5) required me to size 2 sizes up - from a 7.5 to an 8.5! I had to size up only 1 size for the previous design. The foot insert is also different and does not have the deeper heel cup but rather a flat design. I needed to return them since my heel kept moving up and down. I purchased the black color and see others commented that the black color could be smaller than other colors. I ended up finding my older style in black. I do not think there were any positive upgrades to the newest Cloud 5 design.

I just bought these shoes the other day for my upcoming trip that I am on . I typically wear a 7.5 in all my tennis shoes and the guy at the store said that they are true to size but I am not sure if that is the case. I have worn them for several hours and they are just NOT comfortable at all. The shoes itself is nice and I like the color but they feel snug and tight and I feel like the top of my feet is having pressure pressed on it.I worn them for a couple of hours thinking they need to broken into but I don’t think that’s the case. Not sure if I need to size up or what….
Ordered the shoe a half-size larger and it was still too tight to accommodate even a thinner hiking sock. Looks nice, though, except for the permanently wrinkled tongue of the shoe. Also, the return costs $6.99 and the site doesn't generate the shipping label from the online browser (chrome or firefox). I had to login on my phone then upload it to my email, save it as a jpeg and then print the jpeg. Also, I only ordered from the site for the AAdvantage shopping credit, which was never tracked. I'm ordering a full size larger from zappos for the free returns if that size doesn't work for me.
Speedy delivery and helpful assistance when I inquired about possible returning of item. I ordered my regular shoe size (I always go up 1/2 size in Brooks) as on the ON website they state these are TTS, they felt rather tight when I first tried them on and was disappointed. I wore them around the house for a few days. I decided to keep them and am glad that I did. They are comfortable and I think that 1/2 size up would have been slightly loose. I am only intending to use these for walking not running. Love the ease of the slip on design and they do look good on. They are my first pair of ON shoes- not 100% sure I would buy again as so expensive.
