I got these last season on sale. They held up well after 1 season of riding. The do run a little small. I wear a 38 in my jeans and got these in 38" waist and it is a little snug, especially when moving around on the bike. The buckle also seems a little cheap and doesn't hold very well. I mostly ride single track and old logging roads and wished these pants had some pockets. I probably be looking at getting a pair of over the boot pants for the next riding season.-m-2003 KTM--

Great pants, the fitment was amazing, there was some very thin fabric on a small portion that my engine burnt a whole through, it would be better if they removed that small piece. Overall an amazing buy.

Sweet colors and graphics! Not bad, run a little small. Lacking waist cinch. Not heavy duty. Definitely a track style pant.

These are my second pair of riding pants. My first were fly, so that's all I have to compare them to. When I got these pants I immediately noticed the rubber on the waist to hole your jersey tucked in. Then I tried them on. The waist is stretchy, but not overly so. The fly f16 pants I have, you can tell you're wearing riding pants. These O'Neal element pants are incredibly comfy.
These pants look fantastic and fit great.I followed the size chart and it fit me perfectly.I have a very small waist and a big hip/butt and i was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it fit since i usually have allot of trouble trying to make any type of pant fit right. It seems to be waterproof and there's not much airflow through these pants so expect to have a little bit of a swamp bottom but overall i'm very glad i bought this pant.
PROS---------------------I've had these pants for about 9 months, and they have served me well so far. Aside from a couple normal stray threads, these pants have stayed sound. The outer layer of the pant is very durable and, although I have not crashed while wearing these pants yet, I feel safe in them because of the strong materials used. The inner lining is a very soft mesh that separates your skin from the protective outer layer. The knees, crotch, and butt area of the pants feature a section of elastic material that allows them to stretch and move with your body while riding. The inner portion of the elastic waistband features grippy exposed silicone which runs all the way around the waistband that helps keep my shirt tucked in and my pants on. Continuing, the pants come with detachable hip pads which are made of durable foam lined with some sort of fabric (to prevent chaffing/rashes I assume).CONS----------------The only reason I don't give this product 5 stars is because of the lack of pockets. I keep my phone and other small items in a backpack while riding, but it sure would be nice to have some. Perhaps zipper pockets on the outsides of the thigh would be a good addition to a new generation of these pants. Additionally, there aren't built-in kneepads or slots to put your own but what else can I expect from a budget pair of pants. The O'Neal logo on the knee is made of hard rubber and would probably provide some protection in the event of a crash, but I choose to wear kneepads over my pants anyway.SIZING AND FIT--------------------------------Normally, shopping for pants is a hassle because of my tall and skinny build, but these have been amazing for my first pair of mx pants. I bought a size 30. I am 6' tall, 130lbs with a hip size of 34" and a 28" measurement for where my pants usually sit (right above my hip bone). Although these are size 30 pants, I am able to tighten the waistband down to 26". They are fairly loose around my butt and thighs, and the tapered shape of the legs allows them to fit comfortably around my calves. My inseam measurement is 34" and the bottom of the pant sits right above my ankles. I don't really care if these pants are a little short because I'll be wearing tall motorcycle boots with them anyway. If you're somewhat tall like me, just be sure to wear long socks. These pants fit me very well but they do run kinda small for a size 30. If you are going to buy these pants, I recommend buying a size larger than what the sizing chart says. All in all, these are great looking and comfortable pants that do their job. They are fairly breathable and, although I get sweaty, I don't overheat. I am happy with the quality and I would recommend these to anyone looking to buy budget motocross pants.P.S. I wasn't paid to write this but it would be nice if I was lol
Finally someone makes great looking gear for us plus riders. Too long we have suffered with boring, not to mention hot, black and gray riding gear. No more. Not only do these look great but they fit great. True to size and very comfortable.Highly recommend the O'neal Racing Element line of gear.
My son really liked the graphics on these pants but when we received them he was disappointed with the quality and fit. He is 13 and has had MSR riding gear in the past that he's been really happy with. The fabric is lightweight which may work well for warmer weather and it seems like it would be fairly water resistant but the fabric didn't seem very breathable. We are returning this item to exchange for MSR Axis pants.
Price is decent but they're super tight on the calf area so depending on if you use knee pads they might not fit. Had a decent crash and they ripped around the knee area. Pocket size was alright was able to fit a iphone x in one of the pockets but any phone that's bigger wouldn't fit.
I've only wore them a few times but I like them. They are true to size but I wish there was a little more adjustment to make then tighter. I've crashed a couple times in them and they held up well and washed clean. Also wish they had a pocket, a zippered one would be nice.
