But that rapid charging equals confidence that, as long as you have access to an outlet or power bank that supplies the necessary output for a short time, you'll never have to worry about your phone dying. This phone really is thoughtfully-produced and a good value for the price, and I absolutely recommend it!

Be careful if you want to use an LTE watch.

I felt it was time to upgrade from OnePlus 8 Pro. In retrospect I shouldn't have. My 8 Pro isn't missing much compared to the 11. There is no wireless charging on the 11 but there is on the 8. Cameras may be a bit better but for the average user, hard to see the difference. My 8 Pro is running OS 13, the 11 just updated to 14.I have had a Samsung Galaxy 3 watch for years which started out working just fine with the 11, until the upgrade to OS14. Now it no longer works in LTE, only Bluetooth. While resetting both phone and watch, it will pair for Bluetooth but for LTE it tells me there is no mobile data network available in my country, contact Samsung support. It paired perfectly, found my current data plan, updated my mobile plan with the new esim and works perfectly. So I am now using my 8 Pro instead of the 11. A better phone in my opinion.Beware that OnePlus apparently has an issue on their newer phones when it comes to an LTE watch. It says it is paired but never finishes the install and instead drains the watch and phone batteries all the while the Bluetooth icon on the phone jumps around. Must be so because my old LTE watch worked perfectly until the upgrade to OS14. OnePlus says that have no "known" issues. Their tech support leaves much to be desired.

Best phone for the price.

Coming from a previous iteration, the OnePlus 9, this new version improves on what was already an excellent camera, a clean interface, and an almost stock version of Android.With 256GB of storage this is even better. The photos are excellent, it even has Google's "Erase People" feature, the wide angle is really wide, colors are very nice and vibrant but very balanced. Hasselblad. Calls are clear, cell/wifi reception is excellent.The phone's surface is smooth, the glass is sturdy I have a cheap case on it and have dropped this repeatedly, unintentionally of course, and the phone is still undamaged. Oneplus released Android 13 a month before Samsung, and is still the fastest at getting out the latest android versions (not including Google devices ofc). And while Oxygen 12 was a bit of a step back for the OS, they did a great job bouncing-back with Oxygen 13. Its still a great, simple, customizable, minimal-frills android experience. Another little thing I love about this phone that you don't see reviewers mention often, is that it has a really great haptics! It's a small detail that enhances that experience. Combined with the top-notch performance, it just makes using the phone that much more satisfying and enjoyable. You can't beat the performance of this phone for this price. Yes the Pixel has wireless charging but it also has a weaker processor and slower charging. Yes you will get some extra bells and whistles with an S23 Ultra, but you'll also pay almost twice as much. Overall this is a great choice for someone like me who just wants top-tier performance without having to pay a premium for features and extra's you don't really need.

Excellent Android Flagship Without the High Price

OnePlus has been killing it for a while for folks who dig a little deeper than the center of the store displays. This model is an amazing device - as long as you know what you are getting yourself into. You need to be aware that you are making trade-offs. There's no wireless charging, but you get an 85 watt charger in the box that will take you from nearly depleted to fully charged in less than an hour. The battery life holds up as long as you aren't at max brightness, always on, max refresh rate. You don't have a lot of options for accessories (especially from Best Buy), but you get a screen protector included that is already applied. For me, the toggle switch to select ring, vibrate, or silent js such a huge feature. Digital zoom goes up to 20X. The ultrawide is one of the best I've seen at 48 MP. Its battery life is very respectable. It charges faster than fast with the included SUPERVOOC charger and cable, at usually between 60 and 80 watts. It can go from dead to ~60% in just ten minutes, and it can top up from zero to 100% in a half hour. The body is curved so as to be pebble-like, which makes it very comfy to hold. This should be a top choice for someone who doesn't need the very best sound the phone industry offers, but wants a great still photography phone. It can also lock the shutter open for up to 30 seconds straight for nighttime pictures.

This is probably my biggest gripe with this phone.The screen is large, perfect if (like me) you read ebooks, graphic novels, or play games during downtime or commutes.The camera is great for a casual user. I can't say if it's a "good" or "bad" camera for anyone who's really into posting on social media or doing professional videos/pics with their smartphone, but for someone who just snaps pictures here and there, everything comes out crisp and clear. There's also the option of manually taking photos (without using the presets or AI or anything). However, I did realize the camera always seems to auto-adjust so you can't take pictures upside-down or do anything really crazy, even in manual mode (at least, none I've found yet), which is a bit of a bummer. Night pics are hit or miss straight from the phone and may require more editing in another app.While the phone is really fast, once you get a lot of apps and you're jumping around a lot (as I do), I did notice lag a few times, and once the app crashed. Once I cleared the apps, this usually settles down. The memory is good enough to play any game I've tried; I'm not a big gamer but I do like casual games. I tried Genshin Impact for a few days and it worked fine.The OnePlus bloatware that comes with the phone is unfortunately not able to be uninstalled. I find the bloatware apps, like the calculator and alarm to be OK, fine, but not great. I do like the OnePlus's OS generally, there's lots of customization features so you can it get mimicking what you're used to pretty closely.One downside is I find the phone a bit heavy, but considering the screen size, I guess that's not surprising. Of course, I wish there was a headphone jack and an SD card slot, like my previous smartphone, but it seems all the "flagship level" phones have done away with those features. There's also no really good-looking cases and the official OnePlus one, I think, is particularly ugly considering the nice, green color the phone is. I ended up buying a clear case off Amazon.All-in-all, I'd recommend this phone because the OS, speed, screen size, and graphics are amazing considering the price.

I love that one+ keeps providing bloat-free software, does not force their own products and apps. Super-fast charging is indeed super - fast! Packed with features to help rather than distract you.Very powerful phone for it's price! Also, smart choice to make ip rated phone but not umph the price by actually certifying it. Sadly it's ip64 and not ip68 as it was on previous models. Also, I would welcome wireless charging. Sometimes you just want it to charge while it is on a stand or such.I am happy to see status slider back and sad to see pop-up front camera gone. Options for RAM and SSD storage are great too! Maybe pricing does not reflect that well. Worth the 10 Pro upgrade

After a week of use, this phone seems to be everything the 10 pro should've been from the start. Greater battery life out of the same size battery. Blazing fast 80w charging, smooth and snappy UI, vast improvement of the optical zoom camera(macro focus is still lacking).So far there have been noticeably fewer compatibility issues with my work related apps.-Notifications come in quicker when compared side by side to the 10 pro over the same network.-gen2 snapdragon is a beast.-Screen is insanely bright, 1300 peak nits, and doesn't have any of the odd dimming bugs my 10 pro battled so far.-Bluetooth audio is fantastic,(mileage may vary depending on the device connected) but I've been enjoying the decrease in audio lag vs the previous iteration while using Android ... MoreAfter a week of use, this phone seems to be everything the 10 pro should've been from the start. (Mute isn't actually active, only way to regain voice input was changing to speakerphone/Bluetooth, then back to handset)-16gb memory is well received for those of us multitasking at work. I often flip through 4-8 apps during certain service calls, that extra RAM has made running 6+ apps seamless to flip through.-The screen looks fantastic(though so did the 10 pro's). There seems to be a fairly significant improvement of haptic detection along the rounded edges of this display vs the 10 pro, no more pushing the screen until it feels like it's going to shatter to hit that upper right drop-down menu or far left checkbox.-vastly improved telephoto camera lens, a few cool new camera features.Cons: Honestly, less a few creature comforts of other flagship devices from competitors, this phone is incredibly solid for the price, but there is a short list;-I personally dislike that they stuck with the rounded screen edges.-The mobile network antenna seem to sport ever so slightly less range of reception vs the 10 pro counterpart, however it's still a significant improvement over phones from other android manufacturers I've used in the recent past.-Not sure if it's absolutely a con, but the choice to go with one singular lens cover for the rear cameras makes me more nervous vs the individual lenses in the 10 pro. If you broke one then, the other sensors were still useable, now you'd likely need to replace the entire back glass.-phone call volume seems to be a bit lower through the handset, it is clear however.-camera macro focus still lacking for smaller items or closeups less than a few inches away.
