Only pro to this chair is that it’s aesthetically pleasing. Had this chair since January 2022 and from the start it creaks, clunks and cracks. Every time you move there is a loud click. The seat has lost all its cushioning so it feels like I am sitting on the hard floor. The back support is all out of place and doesn’t match with spinal curves which makes it very uncomfortable and easily get a sore back after sitting for a short period of time. It’s just an all round uncomfortable chair for the price it is. Really disappointed and really don’t understand how this chair has such high reviews on google.

I was really looking forward to this purchase since all the reviews were so positive. Unfortunately, I found that the only thing supportive about it was the cushions it came with rather than the chair itself. The base of it is quite hard and it feels like I'm sitting on a wooden chair. Unfortunately, I'm quite small (5'2) and the chair won't lower much so my feet can't touch the ground which causes the chair to swing whilst I'm using it. The armrests also twist, which can be a great feature but they don't lock in place which can be a bit frustrating when they move. I've also found that the base of the chair is pretty small so anyone bigger would have a hard time finding it comfortable.Overall it was easy to assemble but the negatives outway the positives. It's likely that this chair and its price point are designed for people who have no experience using gaming chairs. I think spending an extra $100 to buy a better chair would be more worth it.

I was quite surprised at the quality for a gaming chair in this price range. I'm around 1.8m, medium build and this chair fits me perfectly. It is quite a high chair, to have both my feet flat on the ground, the chair needs to be at it's lowest setting. This is not a problem for me, but for someone like my wife it is too high. The only disappointing factor in this purchasing experience was that there were no floor (demo) models to try in the Hamilton store. At first the staff were not very helpful! The first two would only show me a computer screen with their website on it, wanting me to choose a chair by looking at their website. I could've stayed at home for that! But then young Corin turned up and he knew his stuff! He sold me on this chair and even carried it ... MoreI was quite surprised at the quality for a gaming chair in this price range. I'm around 1.8m, medium build and this chair fits me perfectly. Quality is a step up from the $200ish rubbish you get from trademe but it seems like "gaming" chair manufacturers are either tiny human beings or have never actually taken part in a decent gaming session.Pro's:-The high back is good and the lumbar and head cushions are decently comfortable after a bit of jiggling around.-The castors are better than I expected and function well even on carpet.-The chair looks great.Con's:-The chair, even at its lowest level, sits higher than most which means anyone below average height will struggle to sit and keep their feet on the ground.-The armrests take very little force to rotate and do so constantly. Not sure why this is even a feature tbh.-The seat base design and materials are plain bad. Not sure why this is even a feature tbh.-The seat base design and materials are plain bad. Within a couple of hours the tiny amount of cushioning on the seat base wings had gone, leaving a metal bar on both sides. If you don't always sit with your knees basically touching, you'll have metal bars digging into the outside of your thighs.-The "high density memory foam" or whatever the seat base cushion is made out is average at best. 4 hours into my first game night using this chair and it felt like I was sitting on plywood. I just don't understand how car seats from the 80's still manage to be more comfortable than a purpose built $300+ "gaming chair".So yeah. It works. Probably be a great chair for kids or teenagers but any average adult who spends a decent amount of time in front of their computer will find this disappointing.

Brought this on sale, would had been nice if we could try these in stores like Wellington as that's the closest PB Tech.So was a lucky shot in getting this and hoped for the best. I've read and seen a lot of reviews online regarding these chairs. This be my first gaming chair and was very impressed when received. Easy to install didn't take long. Sort of built it backwards from the instructions as it seemed easier then what was instructed as you may need 2 people if you do follow instructions as one would need to hold it. Comfort wise its firm not soft like an office chair, if you want soft and lux, buy a office chair. Its nice the arm rests can adjust so goes under the desk when not in use and you can move it left and right for different positions. Lost a mark as there are some sharp edges on the plastic part of the chair if your not carful. Overall a great product for what it's worth.

Don't sit on it too much
28 January 2023

I bought one of these a little over 15 months ago.I should start by saying I'm not particularly heavy, around 80kg. It's chief flaw is a tendency for the back rest to twist over time, a product of the surprisingly narrow steel tubing in the frame. I've had to convert it into a fixed-back chair using a steel brace to immobilize the left reclining hinge.Additionally: one of the lower wings is broken and floppy due to laughably bad and scarce welding and the gas cylinder slowly lowers over the course of the day.

Not good unless you have long legs & narrow body
7 April 2023

I’m 175cm tall and the lowest setting is still too high, my legs hang which hurt my thighs. The seat is also very narrow and becomes uncomfortable for me after a short while. I’m disappointed with my purchase and wish that the shops that sell these kinds of chairs had display ones to try out first as I wouldn’t have brought this chair if I knew how uncomfortable it would be for me. I’ve given it away and I think I’m going to aim to get an executive office chair instead. I believe these gaming chairs are more aimed at tall skinny teenagers than adults.

Ridiculously uncomforable
5 December 2022

Back and knee breaking. Impossible to get comfortable in this chair. I have tried for a good 12 months now and I have to move on. I have tried so many different settings and moved the pillows around etc and it simply can't be made comfortable. Not to mention you stick to the chair as soon as you sweat due to the cheap imitation leather fabric. Maybe ok for short periods but definitely not for the long term.

strong build nice price but

Chair is easy to put together and it supports heavy people pretty good. I would say if you are a tall person or just a big person avoid this chair. It looks comfortable and its well-made especially the lower bottom, being metal frame but the narrow chair design takes some getting used toIt's the best cheapest gaming chair youll get but thatg photo of the blue is not correct. It's a darker blue in real life.
