Great for people with knee issues. The only sandals that had ever worked for her were the Columbia Molokaiās, which are discontinued. BUT, after tons of trial and errors in our search of recovery sandalsā¦ THESE sandals have been a saving Grace! Theyāre way better priced with same results. My mom has not had any issues or pain and hasnāt stopped wearing them. Sheās even talking about buying herself another pair. I canāt speak for the other models of Oofos, but these are truly amazing for someone who suffers from aches and pains.

I can't really express in words how comfortable this sandal is and how much it helped me. I have been suffering from an ankle injury along with reduced arch in my foot. So I needed shoes with arch support and was recommended OOFOS. I tried these sandals and they offer proper support to my foot.I recently went for the Hajj pilgrimage where one has to walk A LOT. And throughout that time, I wore these. It made the experience so much more comfortable - to the extent that I also wore these when I climbed on Mount Nuur to the Cave of Hira. I basically didn't use any other shoe/sandal.Thank you OOFOS for making the journey of a lifetime - for a painful foot - really really comfortable.
I have very wide feet and very high arches -- when I can find side 7-4E or 7-Xwide in hikers, it's great. These are very nice for cushioning after a long day on your feet -- hiking or working. I love the arch support especially. I disagree with the recommendation to 'size down' for women. My usual non-hiking boot size is 6.5 and these *just* fit my feet. If I had sized down from the mens 5/womens 7, then the sandals would have been too short.Oofos makes a version of these thong sandals for women -- and specifically says that it's narrower than the unisex version. So if you are a woman with wide feet, my recommendation is for the original sandals and to order your usual size.
