My French bull dog loves this and it compliments the food and toppers. She gobbles it right up. We will be a continued customer for sure. Its great to know that this company makes great HEALTHY products for our puppy. You can tell she feels good after eating a "clean" food.

Phew! Everyone knows how draining it is to switch foods and find something they love. My senior cats have eaten I And Love And You Surf and Chick for years. They loved that stuff, especially how fishy it smelled. Then suddenly last year, without warning, the bag look changed and there was absolutely no smell to it. They wouldn’t touch it. I think it’s real crappy for companies to do this to their customers without any type of notice.Any way, I was fortunate enough to find this company who had a whitefish dry food as I suspected that was what my cats loved. It was a match! It’s much more expensive but I am getting what I pay for, that’s for sure. The cats literally fight each other to get the first scoop of the day. I have 4 bully breeds and 2 sphynx cats who eat a lot of food!! I find it hard just trying to keep up especially with having some picky eaters. One of my sphynx cats are so picky she will not eat any wet cat food or even canned Tuna or meat yet she devours the mackerel and herring stew from open farm!!! She has finally put on some weight for the first time in her entire life. I'm beyond grateful! As well as having a chicken and grain allergy amongst some of my dogs. Being able to have so many options for my babies is wonderful. Alongside the excellent customer service I received everytime yet!!! I uad recently tried the new insect recipe for my dogs and unfortunately gave them some stimach upset to whivh i had to stop feeding. The company is great being planet-friendly focused. My Boxer loves the the food. However, it isnt allergy-proof. The grain free recipe matches more of what she needs, but I’m not a fan of grain-free foods. I want to stay on the this company’s food lines, but I’ll more than likely have to switch to better meet my puppie’s allergy needs.
When I opened up the box from Open Farm my dogs were ready to start eating the bag!! Both my dogs were crazy for the smell of their new food before I even opened up the bag! They are both looking shiny and healthy and this is helping both of them with their allergy reactions they had been getting from the old brand of dog food I had been feeding to them. I highly recommend this one! Open Farm also was on Susan Thixton's "The List" -- which totally puts my mind at ease that my dogs are getting a great quality - and greatly sourced kibble!!
My pups seem to be enjoying the taste; however, the kibble size is too small to be of any dental benefit. They are swallowing it whole instead of chewing, not so hot for digestion either. Please include pro/prebiotics and bromelain from pineapples.Django has many allergies, but you only have one single-source protein option. He also needs a food with glucosamine/chondroitin, biotics, and bromelain.And the price points! It costs less to get your food from my local shop than order directly from you. Please step up and make quality pet food for low income pet lovers. Those pets deserve healthy food too!Thank you for your time.NEOGTFOPS: I have recommended OF already and will continue but with caveats on needed ingredients, kibble size, and price.
My dog has been on the lamb with ancient grains recipe for several months. She likes it but seemed to be getting a little bored and I wanted to add some variation to her diet anyway. I ultimately want to get her on the wild ocean raw mix recipe because she loves and does well with seafood but I was told the raw mix can be a bit rich so I was advised to start with this. My girl loves it! We switched right from the lamb to this recipe and there were no stomach issues! Gonna go through at least a bag of this before I purchase the raw mix and start adding that in to switch her to that one. Love love love Open Farm!!!

My golden retriever has a very, very sensitive stomach! I tried for quite some time to find a dog food that would agree with her. Thank goodness I discovered the Catch of the Season Whitefish dog food from Open Farm. She absolutely loves this food and no longer has any stomach issues. If your dog has a sensitive stomach, I would highly recommend that you give this dog food a try.
When we adopted our first cat late last year, friends and well-wishers with their own cats advised not to let the cat roam out because (among other things) cats can attack & kill wild birds. This bothered me, not so much because a domestic cat may occasionally kill a wild bird (a different topic in itself), but what about all the poor caged birds (turkeys & chickens), and other animals stuck from birth to death in the cruelty of the American factory farms.
