I found out about this company online and started to do some research, and found out I love what they stand for! The transparency, sustainability, and proper treatment of all the animals is awesome! I love that they look at pets as family members instead who deserve the best quality food! I ordered the lamb dry food for my cats which got delayed like a week. So I emailed the customer service. Guess what they not only got back with me, but told me actually what had happened as to why my package got delayed. They also went ahead and reordered my order with a bonus 12oz bone broth AT NO CHARGE!!!! That’s how you keep peoples trust and business… that alone made me confirm this will be the only food my cats will be eating from here on out! Pastruzied Lamb dry cat food has been really wonderful and Miss. Fellfell really loves her food without any hesitation. She is a very particular foodie and doesn’t LOVE ALL kinds of dry cat food from chicken to fish:pensive:. Our senior cat was showing signs of food allergies so we wanted to switch from Acana to a high quality dry cat food that didn't have chicken or beef. While I'm personally impressed with the quality and ingredients, my cats aren't as excited. They aren't as excited for meal time as they usually are and they have had some digestion issues. (Loose stools) Has not seemed to help with allergy symptoms. We have ordered a second bag to give it a thorough check though! The only thing that we (humans) are not keen on is the price. Feeding three cats is tough when the largest 8 pound bag doesn't get through 1 month, especially when the food is more expensive. We usually have one 10 pound bag a month. Will see how the second bag of food goes!

I have been using Open Farm for years! I started using it for my Goldendoodle, after an embarrassing amount of research. She absolutely loved it! I got a cat and obviously started feeding her Open Farm food. I switched her over pretty quickly and she had almost no weening from her old food, as I just really didn't want her to be eating the old food. She didn't get an upset stomach and devoured her new food! On of my favorite things about Open Farm is how we can track the ingredient origin, and the many different flavors! If my cat is acting like she is getting sick of her current flavor, I can switch it up with no weening! Love love love open Farm and will get it for all my days!
My cats are not picky eaters but maybe that is because I try to buy only the best for them - pasture raised meats without hormones or antibiotics and organic or non GMO fruits and vegetables - hopefully without legumes or peas. My cats are feral (kind of) and live in the barn. However all the neighboring cats come over to eat their food so I guess everyone is really happy. The reason I try to feed so good is to avoid vet bills and with these cats, there is no way I could help them if they got sick. They have all put on some weight which is good for winter.
My young cat seemed to not want her Lamb recipe from Open Farms. I got her a non-poultry and non-fin fish dry food ( COD_) and she scarfed it up. I am now putting down some Open farm Lamb recipe and last night,one of my cats ate some..I have 4. I noticed this morning. It seems they really want some drops of water misting it so the smell comes out , and I did that. Cats are mysterious in nature , with food preferences, so I am watching their bowls. I hate to buy alot more since i don't really have the funds to afford Lamb right now. BTW, Amazon has hiked up their price on Open Farm Lamb. First off when you open the bag the arouma will knock your paws off. Good clean fresh smell. Very pure so you know your feeding your cats the best quality possible. The size is purfect. Lol not to big but not so small that they can't crunch it. There fur is so Shiney and soft. And makes for happy kitties. Nothing added but lamb The best of the best

Flavor: I won't lie i tasted it because i want her to enjoy multiple different flavors as she grows up. It taste really fishy... She does eat it though and i hope she enjoys it. However her main diet is wet food anyways so this is just filler or for snacking. I'm hoping to make it last a month or two or longer depending on my usage since i only want to get the wet food for her. I hope they come out with more wet cat food flavors. I also give her wet cat food chicken and salmon. I'm only a little sad about it tasting like fish because i dont want her to mainly eat FISH flavors.
I have a diabetic cat and am trying to find low carb food for him. I bought this over the Purina diabetic high protein prescription formula because the purina had high levels of soy, which I'm not sure is ideal for cats. Tried Open Farm, the seafood and lamb formulas. The dry seafood smells legit and all three cats like both flavors. There appears to be less vomiting with this food and hopefully it will help with weight control.
