This is one of my absolute favorite OPI shades. Perfect for any season: spring, summer, fall or winter (I wore this over the Christmas period). No shimmer in here, no glitter and plenty of staying power. I also don't require a top coat as it's very glossy on its own. 2 coats of this and I'm good to go. Love the large brush which makes for easy application, however the only thing to be aware of is that under certain artificial lighting (i.e my office workplace) it can morph into an orange-pink shade, which for me is far from a problem as A) I find it looks equally good like that, in its own unique way, and B) keeps my office co-workers guessing - when they catch me outside on my lunch break... "How did she have one shade on inside and then stepped out in another!?"

I really like OPI Start To Finish. It’s a great all in one product, and it’s high quality. In fact, all products I’ve ever used from OPI have been high quality. OPI Start To Finish is a base coat, top coat and nail strengthener. I apply a coat before applying my nail polish and allow to fully dry. It actually dries pretty quickly. Then I apply my nail polish as usual, followed by a coat of Start To Finish when it is fully dry. It doesn’t strip any colour from my nail polish and leaves my nails with a lovely glossy finish. I do find that my nail polish lasts longer when I use this. I really like this product, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality all in one product.

Doesn't work after a few uses

I got this less than 6 months ago for Christmas and after only using it a few times to paint my nails it doesn't work anymore the formula in it is not as smooth as before and I no longer have black nail polish for when I want to paint my nails black or to do details in black on my nails. Some of the other OPI nail polishes I have are experiencing the same issue. I got the mini OPI collection and majority of these polishes do not work after only using them maybe 5 times total since having them. I've had other nail polishes work just fine that I've had for over a year. The price of OPI compared some others are a little pricey and for what? For it to stop working after a few uses? I was expecting the opacity and formula to be like Lincoln Park after dark, etc. I prepped as I always do, had on my base coat, ridge filler, and the first stroke, was oh no! The formula is so thin and runny, that the first coat looked translucent and streaky! Even the brush was not the usual thickness. I was hoping the second coat would cover better and ,while it is opaque, it is still streaky and looks bad. What a disappointment! I don't want to do a 3rd coat as then even days later if wear closed shoes, there is an issue. I may wait a week and add another coat, but I will not be buying this color again. It could be pretty, if it was the same beautiful formula all the other colors are, I just hope they didn't do anything to change the formula, and maybe I just got a lemon, but this one is a bummer.

Movie Buff is Best Color for Olive-Latino Skin

Arrived quickly and well packaged. This is a nice full-coverage cream color with a tiny hint of pink and a blue undertone, which is ideal if you have olive-colored or hispanic toned coloring. I have dark scars under one of my fingernails from hand surgery, and usually have to wear dark colored nail polish to hide the marks. Two coats of this color hides the scarring. This is one of the few light-colored nail polishes that looks nice on my olive-colored skin. I constantly get compliments on this polish. I can't believe OPI discontinued this color. OPI, please consider bringing back the Movie Buff color.

Pompeii Purple and Teal the Clown Comes Home

Pompeii PiupleShade on nail is darker and off from looking at bottle.Too thick. Polished toenails 3 hours ago and still tacky. Used 8 decent sized drops of nail thinner before I stared on my fingernails. Drying is somewhat better.TealThick. Used this on my toes last week. Finished painting my toenails at 9am and the polish still smudged when I went to bed in the evening.While I’m not a professional, I have been doing my own mani’s and pedi’s for over 50 years. In other words I know what I’m doing and only have this issue with one other polish brand. A few years back I treated myself ta trip to the salon and the not drying issue happened then as well. OPI is nothing but marketing not a better product.
