No-frills knife that is cheap, looks good, has a very simple ring locking mechanism and does its job. Isn't super sharp out of the box but that's fine for everyday use. No complaints!

Everyone has one of these knives and many friends rave about it so I thought I'd see what the fuss is about.I find the design classy, though the locking mechanism doesn't seem super secure. Good for cutting veggies, less so for defending against a cougar. The metal is surprisingly soft. I received mine with a significant burr on the edge which was tricky to remove. Every time I'd hone one side the other side would get a burr. This is normal when sharpening steel, but not with honing.I also find the handle much lighter than the blade (maybe this is just the walnut), but it makes the knife very unbalanced.Overall, a decent knife for basic functions, but it ultimately left me disappointed.

My second Opinal knife. The handle is particularly attractive. Great multi-purpose knife for outdoor use.

Sturdy product, well made, understated, classic, attractive, sharp.I use it as a letter and box opener and I realize I'm not the target demographic but I love it just the same.
Perfect multi purpose pocket size knife for doing odd jobs, outdoors cooking, etc.Excellent quality & a great blade that holds its edge. Handle made of Olive Wood which give it a unique opportunity elegant look and a subtle Olive smell.
I have used this make of knife for over 20 years and have never had a problem. Keeps a good edge. Easy to sharpen.
Small enough to put in any pocket, easy to use and extremely efficient. I have had to buy some new ones as the others have lasted for so long that they have eventually become less efficient.
Great addition to my bushcraft kit. This is just the job for small lightweight tasks around the camp .It looks as though it thought it can be utilised for the garden also.💯% satisfied
Very pleased with the item. It is well made. It was a birthday present and the recipient was very happy with his gift.
It is simple, built in the Alps for over 100 years. Light EDC for the pocket. Love that it is stainless and handle is olive wood.
