These bars are revolting. The flavour is ok but the texture is like sticky chocolate flavoured cardboard. They stick to your teeth that you have to literally scrape off with your fingernail. You have to eat them by nibbling small pieces or you end up with a sticky indigestible glob in your mouth you can’t swallow. I will never buy these again or recommend them. Bargain Chemist service and delivery excellent as usual.

I purchase these as a quick convenient meal replacement while at work. It is the perfect solution for fast paced working environment. I really enjoy the chocolate flavour as I have a bit of a sweet tooth so it fulfills my desires to eat sweets without adding the calories.

The optifast bars with expiration in December and January have an improved taste. Maybe new or adjusted formula.It works for me and my mum. Just add tastey veggies and your set. Potentially if OKed by dietician add 100g of lean protein when you feel board here and there.
Absolutely love the Chocolate Bars! As well as the Lemon Dessert (with rice milk and frozen berries). Have had some wonderful weight loss while feeling full. Admittedly only at the right price point.

These bars have grown on me, at first I didn’t like the very chewy texture and quite artificial taste but they are now one of my favourite optifast products. They definitely hit the spot when you have a chocolate craving, they are so convenient with no preparation, and all the chewing helps me feel full and like I’ve had a decent amount to eat.
I've been using these bars for sometime now. Two bars across the day at work is all I need. They taste great and the weight is falling off! Highly recommended. Side note: super filling - make sure you drink heaps of water to keep the system 'moving...
Tastes great and actually fills you up. Just what I was after to compliment the shakes.Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is, although I find the range awesome and I love it, it is pricey. Can’t comment too much on weight loss yet, too soon, but product is great and I will continue using it.
I love the fudgy consistency of these. They are tasty, filling and chewy and as a bonus covered in real chocolate. I highly recommend the Optifast program. Their products taste great and they have an amazing app you can use to track meals, weight, water and steps. The app also has recipes and meal plans. This is weight management on easy mode.
