This tastes awful. I couldn’t get past a few sips before chucking down the drain. I haven’t used this product before and was keen to use it but I’ve wasted more than $40. Maybe purchase a sample if available before spending the money on this. A low cal homemade shake with protein powder and a couple fruits thrown into a blender is a much better than this.

After having to have a total gastrectomy and other complications of losing most of my small intestine, l have to live on either pured food, soups or Optifast shakes which have the right balance of nutrients. I found out of all the Optifast flavours, the coffee is the nicest even though l am not usually a coffee person. The flavour is not overpowering, not sickly sweet but just right. And unlike the other flavours it doesnt give me any dumping which is a horrible side effect most sweet products can give those who have had a TG. It has also kept me from losing weight too fast as l have to have 5 a day, so you can imagine how many boxes l need to buy to survive.

I started on the Optifast journey two weeks ago. I can’t believe I am already 6.5 kg lighter thanks to Optifast. I have this shake every morning for breakfast because I’m a coffee lover and my usual Doubleshot latte with two sugars is no longer possible. Is incredibly palatable and filling and sees me through till lunchtime together with at least a litre of water. I should also add that I feel completely healthy. I’m happy to be on this journey.
