I'm a big believer in the benefits of electrolytes and have long been sure to encorporate as a part of my nutritional routine. I found the strawberry ON electrolytes to be very tasty and thought the light almost glowing purple coloring very visually pleasing. I actually like that this product incorporates magnesium & potassium as well as caffeine & green tea extract. A comparable product to which I am loyal lists sugar as a 1st ingredient which I begrudgingly overlook, I appreciate ON is more nutritionally conscious in this regard. The only critique is that this powder is very light and loose which causes it to be a bit messy and requires a bit more attention to mixing. To me it's a trade off for the other benefits and I'd happily purchase this product.

I typically drink coffee in the morning but don't like to drink it in the afternoon, although I still need a boost typically around that time. I tried using this product and found that I was able to get a boost of energy without the typical crash and dehydrating effects of coffee. I only used 1 scoop, and found it dissolved well and tasted good. It wasn't overly sweet and didn't taste artificial, although I don't know if adding more powder for a larger boost of caffeine would cause the flavor to be more concentrated and/or overbearing. I love amino acids for my pre and post workouts. I am always hesitant when it comes to anything that says "energy" as I am slightly caffeine sensitive. If i take something like this too late in the day I am usually up to all hours. However, with this product I was not! This product I have taken early in the morning and as late as 5pm. I have also taken the minimum scoop all the way to the max and It did not leave me jittery or sick feeling. I typically gravitate towards lemonade, pineapple, lime flavors so I figured tangerine would be good. This taste like TANG! I usually ad more water then it says because I don't like mine as sweet. I am very curious to try this brands other products and flavors they have to offer.

I began to try a 12 oz bottle of the 2 different major sports drinks with electrolytes before bed on different ocassions. They helped my body to remain hydrated with my fingers plump when I awoke after numerous tests with also no cramping in my legs while resting. The cramping issue was somewhat relieved by increased water intake but not always which led me to believe I may not be getting enough of the electrolytes my muscles need to function properly. I chose this product because of the minimal sugar and increased electrolytes. The sports drinks were loaded with sugar so I needed to find an alternative. I chose the tangerine flavor from another reviewers recommendation. Most of the powdered additives taste terrible so I wanted to try a flavor I might be able to tolerate with the aftertaste of other additives. I don't need the full dose which may provide me with too high of an amount of magnessium or potassium used in conjunction with my multi vitamins and normal diet. So I added 1 scoop to various amounts of water. 1 scoop with 8 ounces (1 cup) of water tastes just fine to drink the whole cup straight down. The only after taste is a slight orange taste similar to childrens orange baby aspirin. Definitely tolorable with no strange sweetener after taste. I presume this product used once daily with 1 cup of water will get my body back in balance and help it to retain the fluids I consume the same as the sports drinks did. If so it will be just as cost effective as the sports drinks with 60 days use per container. I will update this review after a few weeks with the results. Hopefully this review will help other folks who are starting to experience the same problems associated with the aging process find relief.
