Best flavour out of 3 purchased. In general for VLCD shakes – add either 100ml of skim milk or unflavoured yoghurt to be blended with ice cubes in a blender to make thicker shakes, yummy! Started/1st week - 1 replacement meal (dinner) every other day. Replacing dinner every night for the 2nd week. Currently replacing every dinner and 1 lunch every other days. The progress is slow (-1.5kg) with increased replacements however, allowing the body and mind to adjust rather than giving up after a couple of days with intense replacements. Goal - 10-15 kilos within 6 months, yays!

I took the risk that I would really like this flavour. It is okay, nothing special. I have never undrestood the hype around salted caramel. I wish the manufacturer would make a plain caramel. It would be much better and far more popular in my opinion. I wouldn't purchase this flavour again.

This product works really well. I really like this flavour, I find that this brand of shakes can have a slightly bitter aftertaste, so the salted caramel flavour helps hide the aftertaste and is very pleasant to drink. It's quite a watery texture compared to another more expensive brand, however despite this I find it's just as filling. It's really great value.
I bought two flavours due to the awesome price and wanting to find a cheaper alternative to another shake brand. Trying these shakes made me realise the price for the other brand was well worth it. I barely could get both flavours down without gagging. They did keep me full for a while but I can’t comment on long term... I barely made it a day. Price is great and my order was delivered promptly and free which I am very happy about so thank you chemist warehouse! I will definitely buy more items from your online store as I live regionally and the chemists around my town are simply too expensive. The product itself I won’t use again, i will be giving away the unused portions.
I make mousse in a mug with my favourite flavour, I use 1 pack shake mix, 1/2 sachet of vegetable “Jell-it-in” in a large coffee mug, stirring in boiling water slowly for 1-2mins just like making a jelly, filling it to the top and put it in the fridge for around 3 hours or so till set. I have one of these every day as a treat in place of a normal shake. Helps me stay on the program.
I did a little researching on this brand to find out it was the Australian version to Optifast. It has all the qualities that the Optifast has but Whole lot cheaper & therefore a huge saving for me & supporting Australian made products. The flavour I was really eager to try but for me it wasn't that pleasant unfortunately so I will be buying the chocolate, vanilla & strawberry o ed from now on. Great price still especially for the quality.
Calling this VLCD I feel is incorrect as its not really VLCD its just LCD. But, it is absolutely delicious and is easily mixable in 400mls of water with it still tasting awesome and being more filling with the greater water amount
I have been using Optislim every day this year. The Salted Caramel tastes great. It fills me up and as it’s high in protein. I find it works really well as an after exercise shake that tastes heaps better than many of the sports formulation
As a fan of salted caramel I bought this with high hopes but found it almost undrinkable. It is very high in salt flavour and the caramel is almost non-existent. The only way I could make this drinkable was to add a squirt of Maple Syrup, which defeats the purpose of it being a low calorie meal replacement!
