I decided to religiously floss daily (sometimes more than once) and keep one dental floss at work for convenience. I noticed I completely eliminated mouth odour with daily flossing (sniff the floss after you pass it between your teeth to monitor presence of odour). I also changed teeth brushing regime: I don't rinse the tooth-paste out of my mouth and the floss then passes beneficial remineralizing ingredients in toothpaste to in-between my teeth.I have noticed that food particles do not stick between my teeth as much and the space between teeth have narrowed, so remineralization really does occur, if you use floss after brushing and don't rinse out beneficial toothpaste.

It's easy to hold and maneuver, has a pleasant minty taste, and I have yet to have a piece snap on me mid-floss (which was a regular occurrence back when I used the pricey Glide dental floss). I had to deduct a star because the part that you snip off with the attached cutter has a way of disappearing back into the inside of the plastic container, and it is a booger to take it apart so that you can retrieve the end, feed it back through the hole at the top, and get it going again (I had only had mine for a few days when this happened). I live Oral-B products from my Electric toothbrush through to the oral-B toothpaste that I use on it. I'm aghast at the fact that I NEVER used to use dental floss when younger and regularly suffered from smelly plaque build up BUT, ever since using floss, I have had less plaque. oral-B dental floss is especially effective as it is thin but strong so gets into the gaps between teeth and disrupts the plaque without the 'shredding' associated with other brands whereby the lower quality floss splits and becomes hard to remove in its own right! Oral-B doesn't shred and it gets the plaque out during daily cleaning without any damage to gums. It is also good value as it has a good £-m ratio with plenty of floss in each spool. 5*!
