I received this product complimentary for testing purposes. I am partial to electronic toothbrushes, so the Oral-B Pro-Health Precision Clean Battery toothbrush is a great addition to my dental care routine. It's battery-operated but it's easy to insert the batteries and get to brushing. The handle has a smooth but firm grip, so it won't slip through the fingers. It's also fairly easy to wash off any toothpaste residue if needed. The small brush head ensures a deep cleaner, especially of the back upper molars. It's also easier to brush along the gumlines to help reduce bacteria and plaque. The motor is rather noisy but it feels quite powerful, like you're definitely receiving a deep clean instead of just "lip service" (pun intended). If you need to freshen your breath, a quick brush of the back of the tongue will help to reduce further bacteria, but I would recommend brushing and pressing gently.

My spouse and I share a very good electric toothbrush, but when the spouse goes on business trips, I'm left at home without it, so I purchased this from a local Target as a backup. Let me say that as a battery-powered toothbrush, it is what it is--not quite as good as the plug-in electric toothbrush, but better than a manual, and it gets the job done relatively well. My frustration is the lack of instructions or information in either the packaging or on the internet regarding the operation of the toothbrush. For instance, the toothbrush is clearly marked as having a "Timer." But I could find no information on how the timer works, or the expectation for brushing time. My frustration is the lack of instructions or information in either the packaging or on the internet regarding the operation of the toothbrush. For instance, the toothbrush is clearly marked as having a "Timer." But I could find no information on how the timer works, or the expectation for brushing time. On my first attempt at brushing, I gave up waiting for a timer to go off, and just stopped brushing. Knowing that good dental practice says that you should brush for about 2 minutes, I then sat down with a stopwatch and timed it. After 2 minutes and 20 seconds, the toothbrush stuttered in a clear pattern of three pulses, then continued running. I suppose the expectation is that I will stop brushing my teeth after the pulses and that I will turn it off manually. It would've been nice to see that explained in the packaging or on the website. As another example, when inserting the batteries, if you look inside the battery compartment, there are clearly two "minus" signs printed in dark blue near the inside-top of the compartment, and I guessed it indicated both batteries should be inserted head-down. However when that didn't work, and after some careful evaluation with reading glasses under a bright light, I realized there was an illustration embedded in the hard-to-see white plastic showing that one battery should be heads-up and the other should be heads-down. Again, it would've been nice to see that information in the packaging or on the website, and I'm now guessing that this is the reason for the number of "it doesn't work" reviews on this page.Anyway, I'll repeat that, now that I've figured it out, it functions exactly as expected.

I wish I took photos of my tartar-packed teeth before I started using this toothbrush. The result after a week is absolutely incredible. I see a huge difference already and I will keep using it. This is not my first toothbrush from this brand so I know what to expect..It's more affordable than going to the dentist and less stressful for someone like me who doesn't fancy medical places. 5 stars Oral-B once again, never disappointing. Once my teeth clean from tartar, I will invest in another toothbrush from this same brand with an excellent price/quality ratio!

I recently purchased a power toothbrush and I am extremely happy with my purchase. The brush has multiple settings for different levels of cleaning and a timer that ensures I brush for the recommended time. The bristles are soft and gentle yet effective at cleaning my teeth and gums without causing irritation. The battery life is also excellent, lasting for several weeks on a single charge. Overall, I highly recommend this power toothbrush for its durability, functionality, and performance.
It is my first electric toothbrush and i don't know if it is supposed to be like that. i guess for safety concern it is supposed to be like this. When i tried to reach out the very back end of my tooth it struggles to clean in when it was in between the flesh and tooth. i did not opened very wide open as well thinking it can handle. so i do it inside of the teeth and the front row teeth with it. on back end where it squeezed with flesh and teeth i perform as traditional toothbrush way. it happened couple of times. i eather open is wide and pull my face a bit or just turn it off and just brush

I have had this model 6 months. It was recommended by my dentist. The timer never did work. I've changed the batteries twice. The second time (yesterday), it would not work with fresh batteries. I tested the batteries in other devices and they worked fine, so have to believe it is the toothbrush. I paid slightly over $18.00 for it and I can buy a lot of regular toothbrushes for that amount. I've had another Oral B and it work for several years.
Pro:1) Overall, at it's Initial price point, not including future replacement head costs, AA battery costs, it's about a 3/5. It does it's job, ie: it works.Cons:1) Battery compartment is extremely difficult to open and I am not a small man. Once I got it open, I closed it, again not easy to do and I hadn't even installed the batteries yet) and handed it to my wife, smiling and asked (challenged) her to try and open it. She's a stubborn woman and has no quit whatsoever in her. After about 20 minutes she was able to open it. I love that woman, strongest will to succeed I've ever encountered in another person in my life.2) Nowhere on the package did it indicate that "precision clean" meant that it would be coming with Oral B's HARDEST/stiffest bristle head ... MorePro:1) Overall, at it's Initial price point, not including future replacement head costs, AA battery costs, it's about a 3/5. I love that woman, strongest will to succeed I've ever encountered in another person in my life.2) Nowhere on the package did it indicate that "precision clean" meant that it would be coming with Oral B's HARDEST/stiffest bristle head attachment, which if you talk to any dentist they will tell you to always use a soft/extra soft toothbrush, be it electric or standard. That way you don't do the exact opposite of taking care of your teeth and cause permanent damage them. This is EXTREMELY important for those that may suffer from tooth decay, gum disease, etc. Hard bristles, especially on an electric can and will cause damage to your enamel. This is "no bueno" as it then will expose and penetrate your dentin. To my dismay, Oral B does not sell single replacement heads. Instead, they sell them in packs of 3, for over $30 just for the replacement heads, equating to well more than I paid for the entire original unit! Maybe Oral B can chime in on here as to why the replacement heads are so expensive and why they do not indicate that the "precision clean 100 toothbrush" comes with a hard bristle head on it's packaging. (I refuse to buy a pack because of this and have only used the unit a handful of times). This was to be both my wife and my first foray into the world of electric toothbrushes. We each got this same model. But after showing her how hard the bristles were, she never even attempted to use hers. At that point, she had already taken it out of the package, now making it unreturnable.Obviously we weren't going to purchase top of the line flagship models until we had tried out a basic, inexpensive unit to see if electric was even for us. But we were planning on it and now are just thinking about it as for all we know every model of replacement head night not be soft enough and I'd rather not spend $30+ to buy a pack just to find out. (An oral b i0 series 9 for each of us was the plan, maybe still is but itll probably a series 10 By then if we decide to spend >$600 for 2 toothbrushes.)In the past, as well as currently, I have strictly used Braun (oral b) electric shavers for my face as I've had a "5 o'clock shadow" since I was 17 and have very sensitive facial skin and they are simply the Best there is on the market and have been since I started shaving. I started with the series 6, then got the 7 when it came out, then series 8. I now currently use the series 9 pro that came with a cool charging case. I still have every braun shaver I've ever been given/bought and they all still work to this day, aside from having to replace the head blades on each model multiple times which is the fault of my own genetics, not brauns. The only reason I get the new models that come out is because I like gadgets and when I rely on one to work perfectly on my face, sometimes 3x a day, I want the latest and greatest product on the market. Needless to say I'll be picking up a series 10 when it comes out.Anyways, I got off topic but the point was that it's highly unlikely that i will let one bad experience keep me from continuing to purchase oral B's flagship products (obviously this model toothbrush is far from a flagship). I just wish they would have been more clear in what I was getting when I bought 2 pro 100 precision cleans. Now that I'm looking at what I paid and the price they're selling for everywhere else, CVS straight up ripped me off lol.
I love this toothbrush! This is my second one, and I learned from the first one. My first one developed mold and the batteries were difficult to replace. Make sure you thoroughly rinse and dry the toothbrush after using, and store in a vertical position. I use a decorative shot glass to store the toothbrush. I changed the batteries for the first time yesterday and did not have any problems.
I just purchased this and when received it had no written instructions other than the side of the box. the part where you install the batteries was difficult to open. Once batteries were installed the brush began operating. I ousted the button to stop it but it would not. Removed the battery box top again and replaced it then it stopped. When I used it it was hard to stop it from operating.. Poorly made. Guess they want to upsale you.
