The cable anchor magnet is exceptionally useful, and the document storage feature is a very nice touch. The quality of the surface is great too. I’ve never owned anything like this before and while I find it a quality made product there are a couple of short comings so far.First, it won’t sit flat. It still has the form from being rolled up even after more than a month of use.Second, and this could be related to the above issue, but for my use case it could have a bit more grip; it just slide a bit to easily.Overall I’d recommend it, just keep those two things in mind. Maybe the larger pieces are less susceptible to this, and maybe I just need to find some heavier weights to leave on it for a longer period of time.It is nicely made and the material is of a high quality. Overall I’m pleased with the purchase, the mat is a huge improvement over the naked desk.

I purchased the desk mat in sand colour and was really excited for it to be a part of my workspace upgrade. It's been on my desk for a few days and it looks great. However, there are a few things that are bothering me more than I thought they would - the mat keeps sliding around on my desk top (which is solid oak); the vegan leather is closer to being higher quality PVC than it is leather; and my mouse doesn't seem to like it as a mouse pad. I love this mat! As soon as I got it, I tossed my Grovemade to the curb (just kidding, love Grovemade). The creme color is on point, but more importantly it just feels good on the wrists. The mat came rolled up, but after a day or two, it is laying flat as my bike tires at the beginning of summer. The felt under pad is thick, and contrasts nicely with the leather (is it leather, don't remember) upper. Stitching is nice and even. The pen track/cable magnet holder is also pretty slick. I bought an extra cable holder because I have extra cables. Although I don't suggest this (Gary!), you can store a lot of passwords underneath thanks to its clever document holder design.
