This is perfect for my "old lady" hands. It is pliable and easy to work with so it doesn't hurt my arthritic fingers to install. For the record, I am hopless with a weed eater - I hit everything in sight and have used oceans of trimmer line. The Oregon just whips through my grass like butter and is astonishingly still there when I finish up. I usually have to reload up to seven times per session. The 2.4mm is perfect for my electric trimmer and the machine is not heating up like it used to. I checked load ratios etc before I purchased the Oregon 2.4mm. You get what you pay for and this was definitely worth the money. I reckon I have already saved money on cord wastage and saved so much time reloading the machine. Two thumbs up.

Have always used the square cord which I thought was good, but had a tendency to break. This star cord has proved exceptional much longer lasting and robust. Excellent cut and so far next to no breaks. Top quality stuff.

This is excellent cable for a big whipper snipper! It doesn’t break, it curs just about anything!
Tried this in my 36 v Makita trimmer but have had no success with it. Wears quickly and breaks often. Significantly inferior to the line that came with the trimmer and the Powerfit version of the same thing, also from Bunnings (and a little less $). Gone back to Powerfit - the rest of this roll of Oregon is for the bin - just not worth the time fixing the breaks.
Very disappointed - Wears out too quickly in general especially when edging.Oregon usually make a good product - this is not one of them - avoid buying it. I would look for something thicker and long lasting.
Despite the many good reviews on this trimmer line, I found that it is close to useless when edging against paths.The line wears exceptionally quickly - meaning you will use it all up very quickly.
Wasn’t strong at all. Would use up a whole spool in about 20mins. The plastic easily melts and gets stuck inside spool so have to stop and fix it every 3-5mins. Used several other lines but never had one as bad as this.I bought a different line from a professional outlet just after this (and it was cheaper) and with that line I literally trimmed 20 times more area for one spool and didn't have a single break.
Choked at the price but proven to be worth it. Hands down the best trimmer line ever. Changed from conventional line and did over half my job in 1/4 of the time WITHOUT having to renew even once at the head. Thickness of the cord made the machine snort on tough clumps of cocksfoot. Buy USA made ahead of other cheaper line. You will not regret it.
Purchased this trimmer line thinking that it would be of better quality and last longer than the usual generic plastic trimmer line. Unfortunately the vaunted inner core strengthening was useless and I found myself having to stop the trimmer every couple of minutes to replace the line. Would never waste my money on this brand again, cheap stuff lasts so much longer and breaks much less easier.
