I always accidentally buy the vanilla bean because I forget to change the drop-down menu to chocolate. I hated vanilla, until I mixed pumpkin spice with it. Now everybody loves it. I buy a half gallon of almond milk, dump it in my blender, add 6 scoops of vanilla shake mix, and a few shakes of the pumpkin spice, then dump it back in the almond milk container, except for the little bit that won't fit, then I put it in a cup and drink it. Anyway, I use 6 scoops of the chocolate with the half gallon of almond milk as well. It's supposed to be twice as much, according to the directions on the shake mix container, but that's just too strong. The clean whey is the smoothest shake mix. I have tried and tested several of Orgain's protein powders. This one is the best one in my opinion. Taste wise it is not too different from the plant based Orgain protein powders, but I like the clean whey benefit and I feel good drinking it. I tend to mix it into my greek yogurt for breakfast and it literally tastes like chocolate pudding, love!
Seems to be Good quality whey with very promising ingredients and good chocholate falvour.Contains fiber and probiotics which may be beneficial for the absorbtion and digestion and theoretically may reduce bloating and gas which can be a problem with other whey products.+ Ingredients and flavour.- Expensive and requires big portions of powder since the actual protein-content is lower because of all other ingredients. Good ingredients though.
The fiber? or whey? in the powder does not mix well in water, milk or almond milk. It also is never mixed thoroughly with the powder mix and large and very large clumps are formed in drinks, settling at the bottom of the cup or glass. Sometimes the clumps comprise up to 1/6th of the mixed drink. This is wasted product and lost nutrition.
The whey creamy chocolate fudge protein is my absolute favorite! All the other brands of protein powder I’ve tried either give me an upset stomach or they taste like chalk. Orgain powder blends so smoothly and keeps me feeling full for several hours. Definitely recommend this brand! I’m also allergic to soy so it’s great having a high quality protein powder I can actually enjoy.
I've enjoyed other varieties of Orgain powders for several years now. I was glad to see they also offered a whey protein version. This variety did not disappoint. The flavor is outstanding and tastes great. It's so much better than the other brands I've tried. This is now my go-to for flavored whey protein powder. I'm especially glad to know it's a clean and safe product. Big thanks to Orgain for making so many great products!
Very good quality and very good taste. I usually don't give 5 stars for protein tastes but this was very good. Nice creamy vanilla taste and lack of artificial sweetness. Can really recommend this product based on quality and taste. The price is quite high so that is why I don't buy this more often..
I used a blender to mix two scoops of this vanilla protein powder, ice, some frozen banana in water. Oh my goodness, it made the tastiest shake. It’s so smooth and filling, and I love how much protein it provides in a natural way. The taste of this one is so much better than others I have tried. Love it!
