I live innBrisbane and have struggled my whole life with finding a quilt that comfortably suits a range of temperatures during winter. One night I’m hot and sweaty and the next night I’m cold. I have not experienced this using this quilt. We have had temperatures ranging 5 - 16 degrees and it works a treat. We did pull up an extra blanket on the night it was 5 degrees but otherwise we have been completely comfortable.I love this quilt, going to purchase three more for my children. It is so snuggly and not heavy. I really love it!Great service from BeddingCo as well.

Going by the reviews, this doona works for a lot of people. However, everybody is different and it didn’t work for us. We (couple, living in Sydney and using it in Autumn) didn’t find it warm enough. I later looked through the reviews and saw that at least 9 other people expressed that it may not be/wouldn’t be warm enough in Winter. Others, of course, live in warmer climates and the warmth of it wouldn’t matter so much. This doona has a TOG of 7.5 and a GSM of 300. Beddingco’s guide suggests this is certainly at end of the lighter duty all seasons doonas. Their comfort guide says a doona with a GSM of 500+ is best for Winter. Notably, their other All Seasons doonas have TOGs of 9.50/10.50 and GSMs of 500/800. They’re more expensive but would probably have been a ... I can’t recommend this doona because it didn’t work for us but can say that I think it would be more suited to those don’t feel the cold as much or, perhaps, live in warmer parts of the country. I’m happy to give it a 3 star review though; it’s light, comfortable and appears to be well made. BeddingCo’s exchange policy was great and we were able to return the doona and receive a refund.

I bought this doona because I needed something that's suitable for a dust allergy sufferer and warm during the winter months in Brisbane. So far we've been very happy with it. It's breathable which means sweating hasn't been an issue for my partner who is a hot sleeper and warm enough for me to not wake up throughout the night shivering. We live in a Queenslander without heating and the doona is very comfortable when temperature drops down to single digits. Also, it's machine washable. All in all a great doona and quick delivery!

I bought both weight quilts and tied them together for winter. The quilts are beautifully lightweight which I need as I don't like heavy covers. However, I've found they're not warm enough and I need blanket a well. I live in Victoria and do feel the cold. Perhaps I should have had two all seasons quilts instead of the lighter one. The only other issue is when tied together they somehow became twisted in the quilt cover so I removed the cover and am going to add extra ties along the sides before putting on the cover again.
I really love this doona - it's light as a feather. I bought it for hot summer nights, and unfortunately the weather turned just as it arrived, but it's certainly done well on warmer nights, and I'll be keen to see how it goes next summer. Overnight lows have dropped the last few nights down to 10 or so, and it's borderline ready to change back to a winter doona, so this summer doona has quite a range, and I've been surprised how cosy it is on a cool night.
The product was as advertised. Plenty warm enough even on frosty mornings. It was a pity that Australia Post lost the package although it finally arrived well after contacting Bedding Co. for a replacement. Even the replacement they posted never arrived so were grateful the original finally made it to us. It would appear that Australia Post's Kemps Creek postal centre is the Bermuda Triangle of doonas.
Honestly in love with this doona. Beautifully made - ultra light weight - and provides the perfect warmth level for our Gold Coast winters, We sleep with the Scandinavian method - 2 doonas on the one bed. A king size bed - no top sheet - and 2 individual doonas (double for each of us). An expensive initial outlay - but this method provides a superior sleep - no fighting over the covers - no partner disturbance - and partners can choose different 'warmth' doonas (if needed). Bonus - the bed is super simple to make. We only discovered this method of sleeping late in life - thanks to watching SBS OnDermand Nordic Noir. Wish we had known about it decades ago! BeddingCo provide First Class customer service and are a pleasure to deal with. We initially purchased the All Seasons Warmth - but too warm for us - so we could return them thanks to their 120 day return policy - totally hassle free. Note - there are no corner "tie tabs" on the Summer Warmth doonas - but there are on the "All Seasons Warmth"..... not a concern for us as the doonas stay nicely in place within the cover without being tied. Highly recommended.
This was my first Mulberry Silk quilt. I wa ssurprised how dense, heavy, and flat the quilt was. It was like a weighted blanket, very noticeable. Being flat and dense, the quilt is quite stiff and is hard to wrap or fold around you.Warmth was fantastic for the recent polar vortexes. Temps were regularly in the single digits overnight, and the quilt was fnatastic at warming and maintaining a snug temperature, while breathability was high. We never overheated. Currently, two weeks from the end of winter, the quilt is too warm for most nights, even with its high breathability.
I've a linen cupboard full of "summer warmth" doonas which have been far too warm; filled with wool, cotton, bamboo, feather & down etc. and they have all failed to keep me cool as I am someone who normally get through winter with the thinnest of 'summer' quilts. So when I saw this doona advertised and read the reviews I thought I'd give it a try as the price was reasonable and there was every chance that it would end up in the cupboard along with the others. On opening the package I could see that the quality of the product was very good. The covering has that quality and feel that I associate with high-end European duvets. The weight is comfortable without feeling heavy on the legs and I now wake feeling rested. This doona is a keeper!
I’m loving sleeping under my new Doona. It’s lighter and warmer than my previous pure wool filled doona I didn’t know that silk could be so cosy. Our o’night temperatures in my part of the country lately have been minus 0 degrees on several occasions, and I sleep soundly under my silk doona and one winter sheet. No extra covers on hand for that temperature drop in the small hours of the early morning.
