I've got an older desktop without an SD card reader and this USB card reader is just the ticket. I also preferred white owing to the black computer case. Also, I got it on a special during the Labour Day weekend.

This reader is so much faster than another (more expensive one) I bought a few weeks ago. Getting full card-speed transfers now.

I used this to Read/write my Raspberry Pi images. Excellent seating for micro SD adapters. Slim line makes storage easy.

This is a great little product, we use them to read the SD cards from our drones. We were plugging the drone directly into the computer, but this is way easier. Wish we had known about this when we bought the drone.

I had a cheap sd card reader fom China which didn't work properly, it corrupted my SD cards. This one works flawlessly! Would highly recommend.

This device does not detect the SD lock switch on full sized SD cards: The slot isn't physically deep enough for this to be possible. This means you can write to "locked" cards, which most people probably don't care about but could be a pro or con for some. The device manufacturer reported from USB is "Prolific Technology Inc.", product ID 2731

Very Neat Item

Bought it for my laptop, very small so it travels well, but will be easy to lose. Will have to attach a string in its loop. Excellent device, good price.
