Bitterly disappointed in the Oricom Video Monitor with Remote Function Nursery Pal - Cloud OBH500. We have had to return this monitor 3x times due to camera not pairing after an all-of-a-sudden disconnection, never wants to pair again. On set up of our 3rd system the night vision is pathetic - the clarity and pixels issue/fault....so we are off to baby bunting for the 4th TIME! Not sure how this device passes their QA test. We are better of buying another mobile phone and facetiming our babys room - PATHETIC and VERY FRUSTRATING.

Received this product as a gift in exchange for a review. Requested a replacement camera, but the problem is persisting. The monitor and camera lose connection for no obvious reason. Both units are un touched, no interruption to battery or power sources, or internet disruption and still the camera disconnects. Even once restarting several times, it's luck of the draw if they manage to connect. Will be purchasing a new system as this one is useless to me.

Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. As excited as I was to get this originally, we had problem after problem with the camera connecting to the monitor. Our first camera lasted 4 weeks before it just stopped working.After having to send it back under warranty (and being charged to do so) we were then sent a replacement camera. The replacement camera lasted 3 more weeks before that one also died. After establishing a pretty close working relationship with oricom support service, we gave up after the second faulty camera and returned the whole product for a refund.

We personally like to support local companies/products. The most important features for us were the ability to have both the handheld unit and also remote access (As we’ve had many friends saying alerts on your phone are constant and annoying all night). We love the built in nightlight and the lullaby feature as this means 1-2 less other devices in the nursery (everything is an extra device these days). My youngest two children are less than two years apart, so we really needed to have a quality monitor system to give us eyes in both places. It was so easy to pair these cameras, and the split screen option is fantastic. Bought the monitor due to incredible, raving reviews but since being in operation for a total of less than 6 months (between all 3 monitors) the camera is so unreliable and has failed on us without warning for the third time now. The monitor presents itself with a black screen and a camera symbol that’s poses a big X on it. My daughter isn’t even 6 months old yet and randomly the camera has cut out and prevented me from watching over my child for the third time now. I tried resetting the camera and the monitor and absolutely nothing can repair them. This product has a 2 year warranty but by the performance on the first 2 cameras that failed on us, in 2 years we’ll end up going through 8 cameras because they seem to only work for up to 3 months before they completely ...
