My 8 year old loves the Osmo Math Wizard and the Magical Workshop Game. After unpacking everything and purchasing the additional Osmo base and reflector we were all set to begin the fun!This is not our 1st Osmo product and from previous experiences your kids will definitely be engaged. My daughter struggles with math & having a fun tool like the Osmo Math Wizard and the Magical Workshop Game really assist in learning.We are currently homeschooling & having the Osmo Math Wizard and the Magical Workshop Game breaks up the day to daylearning routine. We love the hands on learning tool and we definitely recommend it.

We really enjoy Osmo games, and this one is no exception. It’s not challenging for our 8 year old though she still has fun with it and is able to help alongside our 5 year old. The portability for us is huge as we live on the road. We can incorporate it into our school day, and we are able to play anytime/anywhere. You do need a base which is sold separately from this game. We would LOVE for all of the Osmos to have more levels of difficulty! More multiplication/division/fractions/etc.

I have played this game with my son, and he keeps asking for more. He really enjoys playing and doesn't even seem to realize that he is learning. He is in kindergarten, and I must say, he seems to grasp the concept of math a bit better than his peers thanks to this game. There was a learning curve for him ( as expected) since he is on the young end of the suggested age. The only reason I took one star away was because I didn't realize there was another piece necessary to play the game. Overall, I am very pleased!
Its great and fun way of learning. Can get interested even those stubborn kids that are hard to pay attention when its coming to learning. Can learn and play at same time while having fun and and not even realizing that by repetition we practice math facts. Easy directions to follow. Unlocking more advanced levels by completing the games can help with building competitive skills. Interactive guide makes it fun for younger kids. Additional games keep kids entertained so they dont feel bored or overwhelmed. Didnt like that i had to buy separate base and reflector but since there is more games that can be added its not that bad. Very positive experience.
Trying this game out for the first time with my children to test it out to see how if my students would enjoy this game in a math center. I must say this is the best of both worlds for children, because you get to incorporate the technology into your play. The kids are not only playing they are learning at the same time. My children gave me the thumbs up. I look forward to introducing this math game to my students. It was a fun interactive game for all honestly.

You offer them different foods to see what they like and you have to be sure they get enough on their plate. You earn badges. I purchased Osmo a little over 2 years ago for my almost 4 year old, now 6 year old. I love the versatility of it! It covers all ages and has many options for learning and creating through several different avenues. The platform is easy to setup and once in the games walk you step by step through. Math Wizard and Magical Workshop Game is nothing less than as mentioned. The packaging is sturdy for easy storage while also being fun and magical itself! Right from opening the box I was transported on an adventure I knew I would be excited to watch my curious learning child navigate through. I was really excited to get this game for my nephew. He is very intelligent and learns really fast. With technology and devices being the center of everything for recent generations; I knew he would love a different game to try out. My brother bought another game with the base to go with this game and let’s just say my nephew absolutely loves both games. It was easy to set up following step by step directions. My nephew never had to ask us any “questions because he understood what to do. He was so excited his sister begged to play. I love how you can add to this game and it kind of grows with your child. This math “game” is spot on for my seven year old daughter. This Osmo game reiterates exactly what my daughter is learning at school in the first grade. It comes with everything needed, except pad, to play and learn math. Kids love magic themed items too. We did have to use my husbands iPad Air because my daughters iPad mini, 1st edition, would not update to the requirements of this Osmo game. I suggest checking that before purchasing to make sure you can use it. Many Osmo activities are compatible with the first edition mini, but not this one.
