Fit is much better. I'm a med large in aether. I have big shoulders chest .Aether in the large fits perfect with adjustment to spare. Atmos large was too long for torso. But I need long shoulder straps. Aether u can swap diff.size belts and shoulder straps to fit diff torsos. Atmos mesh back seemed fragile and not heavy duty like aether. Aether has lumbar pad that fits my back very comfortable. Holds pack on back with no slip down. Atmos pack slipped down a lot. The belt hung down to my knees on atmos and load adjusters were hard to grab, too short. On aether everything is perfect and easy access. I feel Atmos is a compromise pack for weight conscious hikers. This Aether is a Cadillac well worth the extra money. Tougher pack in my opinion, more comfortable for heavier multiple day trips

My backpack came in a white shipping bag and was not damaged. it was nicely and professionally packed inside with no issues. I love the price and I love the quality of this backpack! I compared this to my Osprey Athena 85L I already have and purchased locally in the US.So in comparison the Osprey athena 100L is bigger and built with the same quality and care! This Trekkinn company although may take longer, and in my opinion is not a scam! With knowing what to expect, I am very pleased with the outcome! Thanks TrekkInn! I rate my experience A+++++ with no issues!

I really like this pack. It has adequate storage and plenty of pockets for organization. The drawbacks may not bother most people. For one the pack is a bit heavy but it does have a higher weight capacity which was important for me. Another con is all the straps and pockets. This can be a pro for some but may be too busy for others. There are a lot of pros to the bag though such as quality and durability, weight capacity and volume, adjustability, the day pack, and my favorite feature the frame design itself. Although the pack is heavy, it feels really good and comfortable even when fully loaded. Overall I would recommend this pack for someone that is more of a trail dad/mom, 5 day+ hikers, or those who like to take extra equipment.

Insanely comfortable
19 November 2022

Have longed for this bag for a while and when I finally purchased it I was delighted to get it. On first inspection it is robust relatively light and with good padding. The day pack lid has all the strapping and a handy reservoir holder too. I have since used it on two 2 day expeditions as well as a camping trip. At times I forgot I was wearing it!Loads of pockets to organise your gear, the different openings are great for different situations and it’s easy to adjust the strapping should you require. I reckon this will last me a lifetime but I’d easily buy another if it doesn’t.Quality piece of kit!

Love it!!

The most comfortable pack I've owned yet. Carries weight well, and all the adjustments make it super easy to customize the fit.The daylid is the best feature!! Has really good straps on it compared to other tiny packed size daypack. The rainfly it comes with doesn't quite cover everything if you have a folding closed cell foam mattress on the outside.I am a woman who fits the M/L women's pack, and the S/M men's fits like a dream. No issues with hip belt sizing or shoulder strap width.

Love this backpack
14 March 2023

I bought my first one 13 years ago. I used it for back packing and Day Rock Climing trips. It still works fine but the new backpack had all the features that I wish the old one did so I bought a new one. I’ve tried lighter weight, backpacks, but then realize that I’m not a lightweight backpacker. I enjoy carrying more of the comforts. The size is perfect and distributes the weight well.

Nice but missing the mark in my opinion.

I have been backing for some time now and was looking to upgrade my pack, maybe loose a few ounces. We don't go ultra light so I still need to pack 45-50 lb on average. The good:The quality and design over all is good. I like the removable lid and the two sided water storage. The bad:I found that the pack has issues around the shoulder strap design. The upper part is a nice gel but there's a seam and bump there that rides on you shoulder which I found uncomfortable. The shoulder strap adjustment is way to high on me, sitting up above my arm pit. I'm not sure why but probably because the way that they incorporated the adjustable shoulder pads, but this makes it difficult to loosen.I also found that the shoulder straps bothered me when adjusted appropriately. Just seemed to put to much pressure on my chest in order to get it loaded correctly. I suspect the angle of the load lifters is not right for me. There's a lot of adjustment in the shoulder straps and I was at the end of that adjustment range. The pack was correctly fitted (my torso is only 18").While the water storage on both sides is nice I found it a bit awkward when returning the nalgene bottle to it. I didn't struggle with this at first but when I was tired or exerting myself I did struggle with getting the bottle back.

On the heavier side but tons of features
16 June 2021

I bought this to supplement my ~2011 Osprey Atmos which is still going strong. I needed a bigger bag to haul gear for children who are almost old enough for their first overnight trip. I went with this model because I wanted the daylite lid daypack. I followed the sizing guide and fit instructions on Osprey?s site and got a great fit. This thing is considerably heavier than my Atmos but also has a higher carry weight range which is something I needed. I love the zipper access to the main compartment and the sleeping bag compartment. All of the features on my old Atmos are here, so if you?re familiar with Osprey packs, all of the attachments points, pockets, and compression straps should be similar. The fit is MUCH more comfortable than my old Atmos, but the back ... MoreI bought this to supplement my ~2011 Osprey Atmos which is still going strong. I purchased this backpack earlier in the year after trying on several in store with some great help from the team. I have used it extensively since and couldn’t be happier with the backpack’s fit and performance - especially for someone just getting into overnight hikes. The removable “brain” day pack was a huge selling point for me, as it means I don’t have to carry and extra bag for day expeditions - and the removable day pack even has space for a water bladder. The pack has ample compartments that seem to be just the right size for things like first aid kits, EPIRBs, food and fishing gear so you can pack it in anyway you want. In addition, the main backpack’s shoulder and hip strap padding is very plush and has meant comfortable walks in both the NSW and VIC high ... MoreI purchased this backpack earlier in the year after trying on several in store with some great help from the team. We have a son going to Philmont for the first time with his boyscout troop. We needed a 70 liter bag with a camelback and a rain fly for the pack. We originally bought a different brand because of supply issues and then found out that we would need to spend another 100 dollars to get the other pieces that already come with the osprey. That pack also had rough fabric on the shoulder straps that would have been painful over a 70 mile trek. We joined rei and are buying the bulk of what we need from this store because of their 1 year return policy. My son is already doing practice hikes so if anything fails we know that rei will stand behind their products and at the prices for the different equipment that was a big selling point for us.
