This is a beautiful bag, the usual excellent Osprey quality. But on use I found it impossible to carry. I'm an average height and sized female, and without much wider shoulders I can't comfortably carry this bag as intended. It doesn't come with a shoulder strap so it's useless to me and I can't use it. Very disappointed.

This is my second Osprey Duffel and like the other it doesn’t disappoint. I bought it for a carry on after hearing how terrible flights are with checked bags. I have used it for a weekend trip to the lake and a camping trip. I was able to fit everything in with ease. I love the outside pockets, super handy. I wasn’t sure about using the backpack straps for carrying but it works great. Also appreciate the way it opens up with lots of room to find what I am looking for. Much better than the regular middle zip bags. Super happy with my purchase and can see getting a lot of use out of this!

Fit just enough clothes and had enough side pockets for important travel documents like passports, tickets, etc.Also, used bag for a day long excursion that it work great for. Only thing to be aware of, is the shoulder strap are a little thin if you wear it for long periods or with lots of weight.

Another great product from Osprey! We bought 4 bags for our family trips. We chose the 45L size for the carry-on advantage while flying. They are elegant enough to use for urban outings and rugged enough for our canoe trips. I like the simplicity as well as the hearty quality they have to offer. Great quality zippers. the straps are designed well enough to serve their hybrid functionality. Overall great bag that should serve us for many adventures!
I have two of the previous versions of this bag, which were well made, utilitarian, and comfortable to carry when traveling. Needed another one so I bought this update which is nice. Has an extra zippered compartment and a sling that can be worn like a backpack. Great for carrying on.
This is a nice, stylish duffel bag that can work well as a gym bag or an overnight bag. I find the main pouch flap to be a bit odd, as it doesn’t stay open. It kind of flops back into place, which I found a bit annoying when packing or unpacking. Also, there aren’t as many pockets or inside compartments as I had hoped. It looks cool, but it’s not as functional as I had hoped for the price. But, since I’m a big fan of Osprey, I’m happy to use this bag, knowing that it’s quality made.
We bought this for our son for an 11 day Greece itinerary. Fit everything he needed and much more room than out roller suitcase style Carry-On. He used packing cubes in the one big compartment. The bottom and ends are padded and stiffer to maintain shape and dimensions. Highly recommend this option as someone who has traveled. Even "stuffed" it weighed only 20 pounds and within 9 inches high, 21.5 inches long and 14-15 inches wide.
I purchased this for my wife & her gym adventures. She loves it! It really is just the right size holding her sneakers, showering items, a change of clothes & with more room to spare. It is also a good looking duffel that she recieves some good comments on. The material is quality as with most of Ospreys items, and her items stayed dry in both snow & rain here in Montana. I would highly recommend this product.
Super lightweight, but really rugged. Straps and handles in all the right places. Perfect size for a carryon. Padded protection where it needs it and also double layer fabric where it needs it. Zipper action is smooth.
I love this bag. I got it for my husband and I will probably get another one for myself. I already have the 30 L size which holds an amazing amount of stuff. The 45L is still manage-able a backpack when full. It should be more than roomy enough for a week-long trip.
