Best pack I’ve had

I needed a daypack for hiking with my kids to carry all their snacks, extra clothing, diaper change gear, etc. this pack is PERFECT. It is the most comfortable pack. I’ve always worn Gregory packs and now I wish I owned all Osprey because they are more comfortable. The mesh panel along your back is the best for airflow. It has all the right pockets and clips. Perfect size for day hiking with kids. Love the rain cover built in and I LOVE the colour.

This sack is very comfortable with good ventilation, and I especially like the colour which is a Blue/Purple. Plenty pockets to store stuff.Would definitely recommend.

Great backpack for long hikes

I bought this backpack for multi day hikes where you do not need to carry sleeping gear. It’s the perfect size, and the hip strap and back ventilation are so comfortable. Good amount of organization. I just wish my phone fit in the hip pocket.

Great pack
3 February 2023

This is a great pack. The main compartment loads easily. I liked the bottom compartment and the zippered compartment on the front. They keep your gear separated, but anything you put in them reduces the available space in the main compartment. Putting a hydration sleeve in is a bit tight. There are great pockets on the hip belt, but access to them is a bit restricted when you're wearing the pack because part of them is covered by the main compartment of the pack. The hip belt and straps are all a good size - unlike some packs that had narrow straps and little padding. I ended up returning this because the lip on the bottom of the frame ended up riding up on my hips - no fault of the pack, it's simply the shape of my hips and spine.

Great pack for heavier days
13 February 2023

I bought this for winter hiking and LOVE it. After trying on many Osprey packs, this one fit me best. I like that it has some easy access pockets for snacks, headlamp, etc, and can fit a 3L bladder. The bladder is a bit of a chore to get in, but as long as you load it before the rest of your gear, it isn't an issue. I love the quick holder for poles on the straps. I wasn't sure if I'd miss a front stuff pocket, but I haven't found that to be the case. I love the suspension design. The shoulder and hip straps are very comfy.

Great travel bag
5 August 2023

Great bag, but not enough pockets for me. I love to use this for travel fits my iPad Pro and MacBook. It does tend to get heavy because you only have one area to store plus your water Blatter. I returned it for a got her osprey bag.

Love this backpack!!
3 January 2023

This is a fantastic backpack for heavier day hikes or light backpacking trips. I really like that the 34L has a full zipper and no brain. Doesn’t feel like any of the bells/whistles/pockets are unnecessary. The hip belt is also super secure and padded which I love :)

Most excellent
4 April 2024

For my needs this is a perfect bag. Excellent size wise for a pilgrimage trip for 6 weeks. Great storage sections, water bladder holder, rain cover. Incredibly comfortable and can be micro shifted with various straps to ensure even distribution. Delighted with it!

Overall good but needs better zipper/pocket set-up for rain cover
3 February 2024

I purchased this bag about 2.5 months ago, and for the most part, I am enjoying it. The pack is comfortable to wear (I wear it primarily for commuting/walking to work), and I like that the pack is large enough to fit my extra clothes, lunch and various other items. I also love the multiple pockets, for organizing all of my items without having to dig through the bag all of the time. My big complaint with this bag is that the hook for the rain cover gets easily caught in the zipper while trying to take the cover out. I hooked it recently, and the cord got completely tangled in the zipper pull. By the time I got the cord for the rain cover untangled, the cord ended up frayed, and now the zipper for that pocket is now broken (it closes, but the "teeth" on the zipper no ... MoreI purchased this bag about 2.5 months ago, and for the most part, I am enjoying it. I think Osprey needs to look at the design of this cover and pocket and how to secure it, without having the attached cord so close to the pocket zipper.

Returned. Overhyped, Underperformed

I’m 5’3. The harness was great. Absolutely saved my back. But the pockets on the hip belt were impossible to open one-handed while wearing the pack. The zippers just did not budge. I also could not reach back to the pack side pockets. So if you buy this pack, keep in mind that unless you have long arms, you won’t be able to access those while walking/wearing the pack. For $200, this was a pack fail. Years ago I sent a suggestion for a pack improvement to Osprey. The response from them was disappointing. They said they appreciated communication but that they didn’t take input from anyone but their design team. I bought my first pack from them when they were still in Dolores, sewing them in the old warehouse. But for a long time now, while their harness design is game ... MoreI’m 5’3. The harness was great.
