The very helpful staff at Robert Dyas Chichester explained to me the difference between the two different 40W LED bulbs. I have put it in my new lamp and it the light looks good. I can't give it 5/5 stars as I've only had it one day.

The LED Star Classic in the 10 W version is the optimal alternative for the former 60 W light bulbs or current energy saving lamps. Very good luminous efficacy, beautiful scattering and color, full and instant brightness at the touch of a button and low energy consumption. On the specimen I have here even only 8 W at 806 lumen are indicated, thus even better than advertised. Absolutely recommendable.

Bought six months ago - now flashes all the time (in any socket it is put in). Have lost receipt so that's that. Osram guarantee web page as listed on the packet no longer exists.Will not be buying Osram again, unreliable rubbish.

Bought one of these, did not work at all. Completely dead when tried in multiple lamps. Exchanged it for a second one, also completely dead. Bunnings have been great with refunds/exchanges but the product itself is very bad.
