I've had these batteries for a couple of months now and I love them. My kids own a X-Box One and I recently upgraded the controllers to wireless controllers. OtterBox Power Swap Controller Batteries are not only the fastest rechargeable dock I’ve used so far but it’s very sturdy. I love to buy products from OtterBox because they always meet my high expectations. There was no difficulty setting up this charging dock, I didn’t have to read the manual either. I like that you can play your favorite game for hours without ever having to sit the controller down. It’s easy to swap out the batteries when the power got low. I recommend this product because it’s delivers uninterrupted gameplay like they guaranteed.

Gaming non-stop during the day with the vibration on, I only get about 4 hours out of each battery, not 10 as told to us. I understand shutting the vibration off will extend battery life, but really, a 6 hour difference when shutting it off? As n fyi, I don't know how long the batteries last without vibration on.I'm not returning the product because for me, it's no big deal changing the battery right in front of me after 4 hours, but I think it was really misleading advertising on the battery length. I know of no one who shuts their vibration off.I am leaving no recommendation on buying it. It is a good product but if you are looking for battery life it is not good in that department.
We really love these Xbox battery packs. They are a little pricey to start off with but they pay for themselves super quick since batteries are so expensive. They are super easy to quickly swap and even if it dies completely you still have a minute or so to get the battery pack swapped before you’re controller turns off thanks to the power cell that goes in the cage. We love them so much I have ordered 3 sets so we have enough battery packs to never have to worry about running out of power again.
Had an issue with the first one I bought where the battery in the housing never worked so when you swapped the battery the controller just turned off. Contacted Otter at the time and was told they wouldn't warranty the battery in Canada despite the fact it was sold here. Took it back to the store I got it from and they were nice enough to swap it out for me. New one I got had the same problem. Decided to just stick it out cause despite the controller turning off the batteries would last 7-8 hours. Now just barely over a year later the batteries don't last much longer than a couple hours. They now drain faster than the other one charges so I either have to wait or just keep swapping to a not fully charged battery.

However it is 2023, why otterbox chose to use NiMh (nickel metal hydride) batteries in this product baffles me. I am not completely unhappy with this product but I would like to see replacement batteries available with lithium ion cells inside. I got with customer service and they graciously sent a new one to me since I wasn't happy with it as long as I returned the old one so their tech staff could look at it.Well, all I am going to say is this. If you are a casual gamer who plays a couple of hours a day, maybe an extended time every once in a while then this is a good product for you. If you are a hard core gamer like myself, then this product is not for you. If I charged both overnight I might be able to get 4 hours out of them (using vibration control). If I left the battery in my controller overnight and the charged battery in the charger, I would be able to use the controller for a while, depending on how much power was left from the previous day, change ... I wish I would've bought this sooner! I use to spend a ton on batteries for my teenage son's Xbox one controllers. This Power Swap Controller battery charger is awesome! While one battery is charging then you can play with the other. The battery life is impressive. It's so simple to swap out the batteries in seconds. My son no longer bothers me for more batteries since he's been using this. So far it's held up to his extensive game play.
These are the best battery packs I have used yet. I have had Xbox since the original system, have had ever model since, and have used a lot of various products providing rechargeable batteries over the years. These hit the mark perfectly for me. In the box I received and adapter for an Xbox one controller and a Series X controller. Make sure you grab the right one of the box. Once this adapter is attached to controller the battery just clicks/snaps in. The battery lasted for several hours of playing and when it got low there was a red led shining under the controller towards me to let me know it’s time to swap them out. The other battery stays on charger and is always ready before the other one dies.
