I LOVE THIS CLARIFYING SHAMPOO. I never used clarifying shampoo much in the past, because it would dry my hair out cause breakage no matter what I did. I also have a Brazilian Blowout sulfates in shampoos will ruin it, so I had a hard time finding a clarifying shampoo that would work for me. You can feel how clean your hair is directly after rinsing this out, but it doesn't cause extreme dryness and frizz. It also is one of the only clarifying shampoos that successfully removes the oil build up towards my roots. I would definitely purchase this if you're looking for a good clarifying shampoo that gets rid of the bad things in your hair without stripping it of the good things that it needs. It's a perfect balance I swear by it!

I decided to use my sample today because I have recently been hitting the dry shampoo hard and I live in Florida and also have hot flashes, (so basically I sweat a lot) so I figured a good detox could help my hair out tremendously. I will definitely consider purchasing a bottle of this because even though it's a little pricey (I love the tea tree line from PM so not too much more than my normal sc) it's not a shampoo I would use everyday either so it will last. I say I wouldn't use this everyday because while rinsing it out in the shower my hair felt very (very very) squeeky, almost as if it would be too squeeky clean aka dry af, and I noticed that I couldn't even get my fingers through my hair until I put some conditioner in which is abnormal for me, especially since my hair isn't even long enough for a ponytail yet (so close!). So while I love the deep clean I got I don't think my hair could handle this everyday or even every other day, I would probably use this once a week or less.

Best detox shampoo by a country mile!

This detox shampoo has been repeat for me for the last two years or so! I did however receive a sample size in a recent space NK gift with purchase in 20ml, so I thought I’d leave a quick review!I’ll start with the scent, this smells divine and I love washing my hair with this as it leaves my hair smelling great after I’ve washed it! I can only describe it as a modern floral/rose scent.This lathers up so well, even after applying loads of dry shampoo, texturising spray and a multitude of other products. I absolutely love the feel of my hair after using this product, I will continue to re-purchase this when I run out and would absolutely recommend that people try this product as for me it’s been a total game changer.If I could give this product 10 stars I would! Excellent clarifying shampoo

This shampoo smells really good, it's fresh and clean like a luxurious hair salon. I've already ordered the treatment masque as it's supposed to have the same scent and I want it to linger. A little product goes a long way. I recommend lathering it between your hands before applying to the scalp. I find if I do this then one shampoo is enough, when I'd usually have to shampoo twice. I have fine but dense hair that gets oily fast; this shampoo gives it a thorough clean without stripping it. I could probably get away with using it for every wash, although I won't, because now I want to try more shampoos from the brand. I don't think this shampoo really extends the time I can go between washes, but I'm not expecting a product to do that. Fine curly haired love

I love the smell of this! I was nervous about using a detox shampoo but this left my hair feeling nicely cleansed and not at all stripped. My hair is SUPER fussy and I have a stash of hair products that could stock a shop... but this love affair with Ouai started with a sample, it's so lovely when that actually works out! I snagged this as part of the 'better together' bundle (I was sceptical...see the point about fussy hair!) I have fine hair that seems to be disappearing at a rather uncomfortable rate, which is type 3A curly. I apply a few styling products to my hair and thought maybe a regular detox would be a good idea. I started noticing problems in my hair at the start of 2020. I've always had thin hair but started experiencing hair loss in mid-2020 (I've never had covid). On top of this I have greasy hair - I'm talking my hair gets greasy every single day and I've tried training it to not be, but I've had greasy hair since the beginning of time so ruling this as genetics! Since 2020 I've been on the hunt for a shampoo that can get rid of the grease and not strip my hair, suffice to say this is the one! After much research and many shampoos later, I decided to get the OUAI detox shampoo. My hair instantly feels clean as soon as I lather the shampoo on. When I rinse, my hair is squeaky clean. Oily scalp and product heavy hair savior!

I’ll admit, I was skeptical. I had their fine hair shampoo/conditioner and was thrilled how well they work. I use probably 2-4 products a day because I have a wolf cut. I dry shampoo on the 2nd day and 3rd, and ideally shower the 3rd night or 4th day. I’ve been getting by just fine double shampooing, but I felt I needed something a liiiittle heavier duty. I always see people rave about this and for 30$, I was certainly giving it the side eye. Not anymore! I am a believer in this fry shampoo. I have previously religiously bleached hair, so my mid-shaft and ends can be very sensitive to harsher cleansers. I haven’t had any issues with this product at all so far. Reviewers complaining that it left them MORE oily forget that *THIS IS NOT FOR DAILY USE*. It literally says that. If you’re using a detox shampoo for daily use, why? Your poor hair.Anyway, I love this. I lather before I put on and really scrub with my nails and follow up with a shampoo massager to get all the grime and oil from my scalp. I leave it on for about a minute, then I rinse. Voila, perfectly soft and fluffy hair! Following with Ouai’s fine hair conditioner and my hair is bouncy and soft. Fine hair girls know the struggle of getting any sort of bouncy volume AND softness… and this really does help. I use this right now every Sunday. I love it for getting product out of my hair on days I may have used 5 products instead of my normal 4 and I HAVE to use it after 3 days. It’s not gonna kill you to use it that often, but try to limit it to once a week. Twice if you use a lot of hair products. 10/10.

What I'm trying to say is Im not consistent.BUT....I love this. I dont use any more than the normal shampoo amount, I apply it to wet hair (I find it best to comb through your hair and get rid of knots before any shower btw) and lather this puppy up! It has a great lather, and smells wonderful. I dont feel any weird residue on my hands, scalp, or hair afterwards.After rinsing, I can feel a difference in my hair, but my hair doesn't feel like straw or brittle at all. It feels cleaner. I also really like the smell, it doesn't last crazy long but OUAI has great scents.Overall, once I am done the little sample tubes (which are also great for traveling) I will certainly be buying the big bottle, totally worth it and if you dont use it a lot (maybe once a week) it will last you a long time!!!

okay guys buckle in, this is gonna be a long one.firstly, i've been dyeing my hair shades of red/orange for the last year and a half and so i'm always on the lookout for a shampoo that won't fade or strip my colour, especially because red tones are soooo difficult to maintain. this shampoo is GREAT for coloured hair, if anything, it actually made my highlights more vibrant, which is rare for a product with no 'refreshing' dye in it.secondly, i've noticed a build-up on my scalp recently, like i just could not get my hair fully clean. guys, when i tell you the relief i felt after the first use, omg!!!
