I received the Fine Hair Conditioner complimentary from OUAI in exchange for my honest opinion.I used this product in conjunction with the OUAI Fine Hair Shampoo, which I found to be very drying and heavily fragranced. The conditioner had the same heavy floral perfumey fragrance which I did like, but is definitely not for those who do not enjoy fragranced products.I left the conditioner in for around 5 minutes, as the directions recommend. I felt that it would never completely rinse out no matter how long I rinsed for. I then used a leave-in conditioner to try to add more hydration and smoothing before blow drying the rest, but that only helped very slightly. Normally I can go 4-5 days between washes, but after using this shampoo and conditioner my hair definitely needed to be washed again 2 days later.Overall, I am not pleased with these products and cannot recommend them. They dried out my hair, weighed it down, and did not provide a good cleanse. The only volume they provided were caused by extra dryness and frizz.

A must have for fine hair!

Love love love! The smell of the Ouai products is simply devine, it keeps me coming back every time. I’m so grateful they have expanded and created products specifically for fine hair. I feel like I’ve always struggled with build up or residue left on my hair and it never truly feeling clean without being overloaded with heavy products. This conditioner leaves my hair SO silky, but doesn’t feel like it’s weighing my hair down at all. It also doesn’t take much effort to wash out of my hair like other products. My hair feeling and looking greasy even when freshly washed has been eliminated since switching to the Ouai fine hair conditioner. My hair feels soft, moisturized, and clean & clear! I was gifted by OUAI.

A swing, and a miss

I really wanted to love this conditioner, and waited a full six months of use before fully coming to a conclusion, but this just doesn't do it for me.Things I love:-The scent--it smells AMAZING and is so light I almost continued with this conditioner for the sole reason of the smell-It really does well with volume--once you put it on your hair in the shower and let it sit you can feel the voluminizing happening on the shaft of your hair-Lasts a while--you can use a small amount and it'll cover the entirety of the hair you need it toCons:-Not moisturizing in the slightest. I’ve been using the Fine Conditioner along with the Fine Shampoo by Ouai and the shampoo is doing so much on its own as is, but I feel like the conditioner is a perfect addition to it. It hydrates my dry ends and keeps them soft and smooth. It's time for a trim, but with this conditioner you can't tell that I have split ends. Honestly, this product is so much better than some other popular hair conditioners and masks (some of which have thousands of 5-star reviews). I apply a small amount of the product to the lower half of my hair, making sure that everything is coated nicely. Then I let it sit for a few minutes before washing off. I LOVE THIS!!

OUAI gifted me this and OMG!! The formulation of this conditioner is outstanding. It is infused with ingredients that not only hydrate and moisturize my hair but also add essential nutrients for overall hair health. After using this conditioner, my hair feels incredibly soft, smooth, and manageable. It helps to detangle any knots or snarls, making it easier to style my hair without causing any damage. One of the standout features of the OUAI Conditioner is its ability to add volume and body to my fine hair. It truly gives my locks a much-needed boost, leaving them looking fuller and more voluminous. It's amazing how this conditioner can simultaneously hydrate and add volume, creating a beautiful balance that I have yet to find in other products!

Not good for fine coily hair

I watched a video by Ouai talking about stripping the gimmicky labels and giving a straight forward shampoo and conditioner set that tackles the common issues of each hair texture. FYI: Hair texture (not to be confused with surface texture) is the size of the hair strand. They come in fine, medium and coarse aka thick.I have Coily or kinky curly hair with fine strands and a thick density. Most moisturizing shampoos do not get my oily scalp clean. For starters, both the shampoo and the conditioner barely have a smell. Maybe my Ulta has old bottles or something. The leave-in is quite strong and smells nice. It also made my hair feel very hard and very rough tectured when I rinsed it out. I think they mistakenly believe fine hair is automatically super silky and needs to be more textured and have grit for volume and to hold styles. This conditioner must be a volumizing one that plumps the strands or something, but my hair feels awful. It's also very tangly. My hair actually felt nice after I rinsed out the shampoo and I could still run my fingers through it. So the conditioner surprised me in a bad way.I think this is why so many people complain about this conditioner making their hair feel dry. Many people equate hard hair with dry hair and those are technically two different things. My hair is not dried out because the shampoo didn't feel stripping or squeaky. It's the conditioner all on its own.It's so bad that my hair is too tangled to style. I'm going to have to hop back in the shower and shampoo this stuff out of my hair. Im now too tired to do anything. I just hope this washes out and my hair goes back to normal. It really feels like I used an aggressive protein treatment that I didn't need and now my hair feels almost brittle.I'm almost afraid to try any of their other products.

Smells Amazing! Hair and scalp feels fresh and clean.

My first impression of the smell from the bottles was not favorable, but when it is activated with water and applied to scalp and hair, it smells unbelievable. I love fragrances and everything I buy must be scented.After shampooing with the detox shampoo and conditioning with Ouai for fine hair - I hair and scalp feel cleaner than ever. I have very hard water and just one shampoo with this stuff has made my hair feel better than it has in years.I was using living proof detox prior to this and I will not go back! I have a fine, thin and arm-length hair that lack volume snd that require daily washing (thanks to the genes in my family). I have used many, maany professional hair products to find which one would work best for me, many of them being professional brands and higher on the price range. Had my hopes high with this one, but unfortunately they were not met. The good things are the bigger amount (300ml vs standard 250ml) and not too strong scent. These are the pluses for the conditioner and shampoo. Unfortunately the conditioner is too heavy in my opinion and despite washing it off properly it still weighs down my hair plus I really have to wash it the next day (which with other brands sometimes doesn’t happen). Let me start by saying I wash my hair everyday. Those who do not, need this shampoo/conditioner! The smell is amazing and will help you with the dirty/oily smell. I rotate Ouai and Olaplex, even after using my olaplex treatments I can still smell the Ouai! I just bought the leave in conditioner yesterday and honestly, after applying it and then styling my hair, my hair has NEVER looked and felt better even on my olaplex #’s 4,5,6,7 and 9 days! I have very thin, slightly wavy, processed hair. I blow dry and straighten it almost daily. Again, I was rotating the two brands because I wasn’t sure if the Ouai was actually “correcting” my hair or not. I really just liked the smell.
