This is another banger from Lattafa. It's a clean, sweet, fresh, take on Sauvage Elixir. In the air it's a little more powder fresh than Dior. And it's a bit sweeter on skin. The average person would never know the difference though. In a way I like it more than the original, it's more versatile and crowd pleasing. The sweet fresh opening is invigorating after a nice hot shower. It's not so damn assertive like the Dior. It's also about 1/8th the price of the original. The scent is natural, sweet, fresh, Sauvage Elixir, nothing more, nothing less. Longevity is good, projection for 2 hours, scent bubble for 4-6 hours, skin scent until you wash it off.

This perfume smells good, and I’m happy I have it. It’s outside of my usual scent profile, which is usually oud, inscence, saffron, vanilla, rose, etc. A lot of the scents I usually love, unfortunately don’t work the best in warmer weather. I live in WA state, so I can get away with wearing my usual scents like 8-9 months out of the year. For Summer, though, I do like try and use more light and fresh scents like musk and citrus. This works great for summer, and it’s also good as a layering perfume. I like to layer this with vanilla or rose perfumes. I would recommend that you purchase this perfume. It’s definitely not my favorite, but it’s practical and smells good.

Can't believe how close this smells to Sauvage Elixir! Easily lasts 8-10 hours on my skin, and you can smell it the next day if you spray it on your clothes. It's a nice enough smell I spray my blanket sometimes before going to sleep lmao. Lattafa really is top tier, I own two other fragrances by them and they're both spot on to what they're imitating. Can't recommend this one enough if you know you like Sauvage Elixir, you'd never know the difference if you were blindfolded! Be warned……This perfume is very strong. Starts with a powerful rose note along with powerful smoked leather. Initially made my eyes water it’s so strong. After a few hours it will drydown to a smoky oud note. One or two sprays only and put it on a few hours before you go out in public. This is not safe as a blind buy. You will either like this or be repulsed by it. I’m going to let this mascerate for a few months and try again. I’m hoping it will calm down with aging.
