This outfit is compact and ready to go. Comes with 6 replacement blades in a nylon sheath. The fold out zipper works great on deer and hog. A hogs course hair and tough hide tend to put a whooping on a knife but this has held up pretty well. I usually take the blades that have started loosing their edge and hit em on a ceramic rod and get some more use out of them before chunking. I will probably be buying another just to keep in the truck.

I love offering to field dress deer for people, most do not look forward to this task, I do. It lakes me about 3 minutes from start to finish, since I received this knife it has cut that time in half. The hook blade works awesome and the severe sharpness of the replaceable blades can’t be beat, buy one for you hunting friends and the ThankYous will be never ending. My only complaint is the hook blade should be built/made stronger, as it does appear to be a bit soft, shown by the small nicks in the blade.

I used this knife through the 2017 fall hunting season.The knife feels good in the hands and is comfortable to use. As other reviewers have mentioned, the blades are very sharp. Replacing the blades is simple and quick as long as you keep the knife clean. I found the blades to be fairly soft and will dull easily if you hit bone. However they are also easy to sharpen. The gut hook is a European style with a blunt tip that is pushed under the hide. This blade is also very sharp and works well. There is a very sturdy frame lock on the gut hook. A nice camo belt sheath is included which also holds the extra knife blades. The icing on the cake is that the product is covered by a limited lifetime warranty.

Great tool for the field. This is light and easy to carry. It works well for what is designed for and makes fast work of the field process. I do still need a heavier blade for the the bigger animals.
These are exactly the style I love to wear that epitomizes the California laid back style. The length is perfectly cropped for my 5’3 frame. I wasn’t sure on the fit of these and wanted them to be loose like the models so I ordered my larger size (I’m between a 26 and 27). The waist is a bit loose but I’m okay with that.
I purchased one of these knives for myself some months ago and was pleased with the product. when my Goddaughter called me recently and told me about her first EVER buck she took I was so proud of her that I wanted to get her a gift and I chose this product and even paid extra to have it engraved with her initials. The product did arrive at her house and she did call to thank me for the gift but when I asked her about the engraving she informed me that it was absent and this was further confirmed by her father to me over the phone. Sadly this contributes to my average rating.
From field dressing to capeing to prosesing this knife does it all! When done remove blade an instal new in matter of seconds. This is a knife I wish I had 40 yrs ago when started Deer Hunting. Thanks outdoor edge for another great knife!
I was looking for the Outdoor Edge knife that could be the closest thing to an all in one possible. The combination of blades in this knife fits perfectly and I love the replaceable blades. I've looked at lots of knives over the years looking for a knife that reduces the number of knives I have to carry and still have the right tool for the most jobs with as little of sacrifice to each job as possible. Again, this fits the bill for me.
Only used on one doe so far. While doing so the original blade became dull and nicked in a few spots. I have swapped blades, but didn't think one blade per deer was going to be the norm. It was one of two knives in use, so in reality it only field dressed 1/2 a doe.I purchased this knife due to the excellent reviews found on the web. Maybe the replacemnt blade will fair better than the original. I doubt it.
purchase cause it was on sale, no excuse but budget is a big thing these days, But if it holds up like advertised then the knife will be worth it. All blades are sharp and seem tuff. (I did purchase extra) handle feels nice, gutt blade is sharp and seem it would work like a champ, I put part 1 cause I will do a part 2 when I use it. oh and case is thick and tuff also. please await part 2...
