The only game worse than this one in terms of general GaaS might possibly be Anthem. That's not to say this game wasn't fun when it worked, it just didn't work 90% of the time. From the constant crashes on launch, to the constant disconnects from the server, it was a right mess for everyone from the beginning. Once endgame hit and people realized that not only was the loot shit, but that they kept nerfing the loot that was good, as well as any ways to get loot at a decent pace, people saw that the game itself, even when it did work, wasn't that great either.Much like Anthem and even Avengers, the game had so much potential, but due to a rushed released and incompetence when it comes to balancing, something very, very important for GaaS games that continue to run ... To this day, it still hasn't fixed a lot of the issues people have with the game. Once they make their initial money back on launch, they don't actually care if the game succeeds or fails. They will put a skeleton crew on it for "balance changes" and wait until people stop playing it so they can shut it down completely.Would not recommend this game at all.

The fighting can get fast, causing you to think on your feet and plenty kinds of guns to help get past the problem. This and your special abilities. Then you have quite a few extra side missions you can do which keeps on activating as you progress. Back in town, it is time to buy, sell or craft some new gear. What I also like is how you have to destroy an item to claim its mod for later use, infinite use and only have to do it once with three levels of mods to gain.I can't see any game breaking bugs or any major problems and I know the game received mediocre feedback, but for me this is a fun yes with plenty to do in the long run. The campaign alone seems lengthy which is surprising for a shooter game.

As I have not had the chance to play this multiplayer yet, I can only say for the singleplayer experience. There is a suitable balance between shoot, loot and leveling so far. There's precious little information to begin with, but after a little while of playing, that seems to become moot as it's all very simple.Although the game feels more optimised for multiplayer, I'm having great fun 'supporting myself' with the abilities I gain for the class I have chosen. The storyline is... a little eclectic and feels kind of over-amped in places, but I'm eager to see more of it.As beautiful as the game is, it feels a bit clunky in places and I'm not sure what system it was designed for, but it feels a little too jarring to be a 'made for PC' game... I highly recommend this game if you like looter shooters. Gameplay is basically you being overpowered god destroying everything. You can choose from 4 classes with their own playstyle, abilities and skill tree. Story is quite interesting, but I wish there was more exploration of Enochs flora and fauna.Armor and weapons are very impactful. They have their own stats and interesting general or class specific mods and they really do make a difference especially on higher difficulties. You can't put on whatever has higher number and expect to succeed even in campaign.End-game is about farming and droping that perfectly rolled item, but it's not that grindy, since you can craft and change one mod on an item and improve stats that rolled with lower value. Outriders for me is a love hate thing. I love the interesting story, the shooting is fun and most of the powers for each class are pretty cool. I m using devestator and I like this class. The campaign is long enough plus the endgame. The weapons can be standard but the mods make them interesting at times. I play on series x so 60fps is great. The world of Enoch has different looking regions that don't get boring to look at. And the variant of monsters and other people you fight is enough that you don't get bored killing the same enemies over and over again. Then we come to what I hate about this game. The cover system is annoying at best. I hate that you can mantle but there are times you can't mantle things that look like you could. The map is not good. Sometimes ... The cover system is annoying at best. I hate that you can mantle but there are times you can't mantle things that look like you could. The map is not good. Sometimes it's confusing to know where you are on the map and which direction to go or where you are facing. There are tons of invisible walls to block you. You can't jump in this game either. You get a dodge roll. Sometimes the cutscenes are weird and there's lots of fade to black screens which seems unnecessary. Jumping from one world tier to the next can up the difficulty alot forcing you to bring the tier back down. I found this annoying at times as I felt I won a couple of boss fights unfairly just by being down the tier level. The one thing I'm not sure I like or hate is the unique thing odlf this game which is healing yourself for theost part requires you to be aggressive and kill enemies with your powers and guns. While this can be great when there tons of enemies it's not so great when's there's none and you're in a boss fights running for your life waiting for your health to slowly Regen hoping you don't get hit and die.All in all though I'm having fun with this game and it's a good replacement for destiny.
Easily the most fun that I've had with a video game in a good minute. It takes the looter shooter formula and makes it purely cooperative instead of PvE PvP, which is a wonderful change of pace. It has some problems, a few glitches here and there but nothing game breaking. If you're a fan of Destiny, Anthem or The Division, you will probably like this game. It features solid teamwork, great abilities and a simplified tier/skill tree, which is also refreshing. I find that too many games try too hard to be complicated. This game streamlines the mumbo-jumbo so all you gotta do is shoot stuff and have fun with friends or randoms. The Discord community is also very friendly and helpful!
Started playing this with the beta, and the full game did not disappoint. The story is interesting and engaging, and the visuals are top-notch. The biggest downside has been the unreliability of cross-platform play. Matches played with friends on the computer while I am on PlayStation 4 have a noticeably increased likelihood of crashing and have to be reconnected to several times. However, these occurrences have been happening less and less with every patch so I feel confident this will eventually not be as pressing an issue. Overall, if you enjoy alien fights and mysterious superpowers, this game is for you.
A very middling game. There’s a lot of background development of story but it wasn’t translated into the game in any meaningful way. Every zone is largely linear and repetitive, with the same mix of enemies and the same tactics repeated over and over. Level progression is weak at best, and it’s the difficulty progression is laughably bad. Start out getting outright slaughtered each level, and then end it so radically overpowered you can walk through areas with little fear. Bosses also don’t fit in their difficulty stack, some are weaker, some are massively overpowered requiring the player to drop their setting. Character creation at the start kicks off some of the problems, because there is no explanation really of your class powers later. Literally the greatest ... MoreA very middling game. Character creation at the start kicks off some of the problems, because there is no explanation really of your class powers later. Literally the greatest character choice of the game, one that will effect everything from that point on, is devoted a whole 1 sentence explainer and nothing else. In all, a beautiful game cinematically, with potential, but it’s been squandered on subpar story and gameplay issues. The looter-shooter format didn’t help, since this world aches to be explored in an open-world format.
I really wanted to like this game. The story is compelling and the graphics are good. Where it falls down for me is the controls. If you're used to games like Call of Duty, Gears of War, or Destiny, you will hate the controls. Something about them feels off leading to a disappointing experience when playing. It's not button or control assignments, those are editable and fine. But I think the best way to describe it is as if you have a faulty controller and control, maybe the reactions feel broken. I've tried playing with the settings and can't seem to get anywhere near as comfortable as I am with the previously mentioned game series.
Take Gears of War, Destiny 2, and a whole lotta guns armor and the best customizable gear/weapons mechanics I have ever seen in a game and this is the end result. When it first launched it was buggy but now it’s pretty solid. I love this game. Story is great and the developers did a great job on this one. It’s also X/S optimized so it plays great on a Series X or S. Campaign is great but this game really shines after the campaign when you start to do the expeditions. The 15 levels of world tiers ramp up the difficulty challenge levels and the variety of guns and gear visually are fantastic. I could go on but go grab this. Take it for a spin on game pass. I bought it on several systems. People can fly is not owned by Microsoft so eventually this will leave game pass. ... I supported this developer by purchasing a digital copy for pc on Epic Games and bought physical ones for both PlayStation and Xbox. You can play with others on different consoles. But you your self have to start a new character on Xbox or PlayStation because your saved games won’t transfer like Destiny 2 does.
