Initially I didn’t think much of this game. I thought it was only for little kids based off the graphics, however my bf and I are both 26 and this game was so much fun but pretty hard. We really had to strategize and learn how to work together to pass the first level which took us quite a few tries. Great game !

This is unbelievably good. It is fast paced and never becomes boring. You can replay it over and over. It takes a very long time to complete. A fantastic game for all the family. Great fun. And would highly recommend it.

I love this game. I got so obsessed playing this. It’s a lot of fun if you have other people to play with. You all work together to make food and turn in on time. Everyone should play this. Basically anyone can play it. It’s not complicated

A game for those who don't like games
5 October 2017

I don't really like video games, and I am NOT good at them. This game, however, is so simple and fun! I bought it because my husband likes to play video games and I wanted something that we can both enjoy when we have down time. It utilizes just a few buttons (think super nintendo) and it's fun and challenging. You basically prep food (chop veggies, pound meat for burgers, etc), cook the food, assemble the plate, serve it, and wash dishes. Each level has different challenges (moving cars, blockades, rats!) that make it interesting. The only thing I don't like about it is the soundtrack--I'm only on the 2nd world but I'm almost certain that every 4-minute round has the same music that loops. It can be a pain but sometimes it gets overlooked because you are focused on ... MoreI don't really like video games, and I am NOT good at them. This game, however, is so simple and fun! Addictive
23 April 2018

This has to be the most addictive game I've played in a long while. It's super simple to work out how to play, but increasingly challenging as you go through the levels. It's suitable for any age and ability, from young children to older people. I've simultaneously laughed and wanted to tear my hair out but it's such good fun!! It's the whole family's favourite go to game at the moment. A must buy!!

Can't recommend this multi-player family game highly enough.
13 January 2023

This is a really fun and addictive game. It's easy to play as a beginner - you feel you are achieving no matter what your level. Most importantly, so far, this game is by far the best we have come across yet for multi-player use at the same time (not just split screen). I am a parent who has played this with their child and we have such fun together. We are each a different chef in the kitchen working together to process the orders. So it also works well if one player is better than the other as you can each go at your own pace. Wierdly it encourages communication between us while we play - I'm shouting 'bring a plate back with you' or 'quick grab the fire extinguisher' and really instills the idea of working as a team which if you have a younger teenager/child they ... MoreThis is a really fun and addictive game. Can't recommend this highly enough and is a refreshing change from all the shoot em up games out there...

[Rewarded Review] A Fun Co-op Experience
1 October 2018

If you like playing couch co-op, you should definitely check this game out! You can play with up to 4 players at once. Coordinating tasks with friends/family as you try to complete your own is both challenging and fun. It starts out very simple with only a couple recipes but as the game progresses, new ones are gradually added. This makes it very easy to pick up yet somewhat difficult to master.Levels are unique and offer a different set of obstacles for players to overcome. Some of them are: shifting counters, rats trying to run off with any food left out for too long, and temporary blackouts. Also, the controls are very simple and easy to remember. You also have the option to play single player but it's not as fun as co-op since you'll need to constantly be ... MoreIf you like playing couch co-op, you should definitely check this game out! In case you're wondering, you can't play online co-op. However, if you have some friends/family members, you're almost certainly going to have a great time.

[Rewarded Review] Challenging and Fun for the Whole Family
27 June 2022

Overcooked Special Edition is a fast paced, strategic and family friendly co-op game. You have the option of flying solo (prepare to be challenged) or play two to three other players. You and your crew will have to cook meals ranging from simple to multi ingredient in a timely manner. Chop, cook, assemble and deliver meals to hungry patrons all the while avoiding burning the kitchen down, stopping critters from stealing food, wash dishes, and do all this with unique obstacles hindering your productivity. I enjoy playing this with family. We have a good time working together to earn our stars in each level. So far I haven’t seen anything real concerning as far as inappropriate content goes so it is safe for kids and for those who want to play a game without the worry ... MoreOvercooked Special Edition is a fast paced, strategic and family friendly co-op game. [Rewarded Review] Perfect Local Co-Op Game
25 June 2018

We all know that local couch co-op games are becoming extinct thanks to online gaming but thankfully this game exists to bring people together locally. You basically prep, cook, plate and serve food in this game. It sounds easy except each stage gets progressively harder (which is fun!) by adding obstacles to your kitchen such as earthquakes, civilians passing by, possed tables floating away, lights going out, etc. Communication is KEY to clearing stages and with the communication comes hilarious moments where it can break down and things can go wrong with fires breaking out in the kitchen, meals prepared the wrong way, meals prepared too slow, etc. This is definitely worth a purchase if you have friends to play with on a regular basis.

[Rewarded Review] SO MUCH FUN!
21 October 2020

After going camping and having limited multi player games to chose from, I decided to try this. I was looking for multi player games that did not require multiple Switches or internet. This game is SOOOO much fun!!!!! And for the price, there is no reason not to get this game. This game is AWESOME! We love it!
