Like the first, this is not just a game best played with friends, it's one that is only really enjoyable if you're playing it with others. If you are, it's as fun as the original, although perhaps not quite as distinct as one might like. It's certainly fun though, although if you're an anxious person it might be one to pass up. It is also worth being aware that this version of the game does NOT have crossplay with console releases of the game. Despite what google result headlines may imply, that functionality is paywalled behind the "All You Can Eat" version. You CAN crossplay with Epic users, but only if you go into the beta branches on Steam. With all that said, if you do have friends on the right platforms, give the game a try.

This game is a must-have for fans of the genre. It builds on the success of the previous installment and adds new features that make it even more fun and engaging. Whether you play solo or with others, you will have a great time exploring the cooking world and completing the missions. The gameplay is smooth, responsive, and satisfying. I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a thrilling adventure. This game just absolutely rocks.

Overcooked 2

Im not the ideal demographic for this game, as Im more of an older ex-gamer. However, my niece and nephew saved up and bought this game and I knew how much they wanted to play it with me as well. So, I found a used copy on ebay and were able to play with each over on Xbox live, though were many miles apart. This game offers a lot of variety, requires incredible teamwork, devising strategies, and builds off of the original game by offering new advanced moves. Youre working in ever changing kitchen environments, preparing main dishes, smoothies, and the food types span the spectrum. [Rewarded Review] A fun local multiplater experience!
13 December 2019

beware lots of yelling and possible name calling ahead. By the people playing that is. this is such a fun party game! You and up to 3 other people can play this game together on the same console if you have an extra joycon (controller). You take orders on the top of the screen and scramble to make the items via different methods like cooking the meat, chopping the lettuce, grabbing a plate or cleaning a dirty plate, grab the bun and make a burger and deliver it to the conveyer belt all while levels change around you. Like for one level you are on a boat and the shelfs where the food is kept slide from one side to another and block paths and make new paths. This game is more enjoyable and would only recommend with multiple people.

[Rewarded Review] All You Can Eat is Better

This is a really fun game. One of my favorites, but it has a lot of bugs! Sometimes the characters are not responsive or would drop things all of a sudden/wont pick up in a certain location.I’d buy the all you can eat instead because it includes more! Even the first Overcooked

[Rewarded Review] Builds on the first, but not enough
22 August 2018

I was excited for this sequel since playing the first. However, there are some flaws. There is no option to play 2 vs 2 privately. I don't like the switching character feature on solo play, should have just given you the option to play as one character with a slightly different kitchen layout for solo play. You cannot use another mii account when playing 2 or more. Gameplay has some bugs like items getting stuck or characters disappearing completely. The campaign story is very short, the first game had more stages. You could finish the main game in a weekend.Hopefully the upcoming dlc will fix these issues or add more features. If not, I'm afraid the replayability of this game will be non-existent even with online play.

[Rewarded Review] Five stars. Sure
13 November 2020

Test the fabric of every social relationship you have and who you are as a person with overcooked. A really great simulation tool for therapists everywhere to pretend that people are working on conflict resolution or team building, when really what they're doing is making sushi or burritos. People have overhyped this game for nearly a decade and it is infuriating. The game is okay but it is not innovative It uses mechanics that have been built on since the PlayStation 2. The only thing that's changed is accessibility and visibility, the switch makes it a lot easier for people to cross play and segment which means it's being mistaken for innovation when really it's all about putting it in front of people. I'm going to give it five stars because I already selected ... MoreTest the fabric of every social relationship you have and who you are as a person with overcooked. Please don't tell me that it's a tool for making your relationship stronger. It isn't. You're just making food and getting frustrated. That's it

Great sequel to its predecessor. Overcooked 2 added new features that improve upon Overcooked.First, players are now able to toss raw ingredients to one another over a significant distance, hastening the ever need to stay ahead of the orders.
