I’ve bought countless water bottles in search of the the perfect one for me. I only had one must have on my list and that was it had to be leakproof, and if it had a straw spout it was a bonus but not a requirement. I tried 3 different contigo bottles but they all leaked. I tried a bottle from Rubbermaid and it also leaked. I even tried multiple off brand and random brand bottles that all leaked or broke within a short time. I saw this bottle at London Drugs and thought it was just going to be another bottle that would disappoint me but boy was I wrong. I had never seen a bottle with both options for drinking before and thought it was a really cool feature. The first thing I did after giving it a good wash was to test the leak proof feature and boy was I surprised when it didn’t leak. I shook it around, held it upside down, left it on its side on a paper towel for hours and nothing leaked out at all! I even tested it out where I filled it up over the edge to where the water level is in the top cap and it still didn’t leak. I love using the straw sip when I want a few sips of water and the larger opening for when I’m really thirsty or taking medication. Having both options on one bottle is a perk I never even knew I needed until I tried it. The one con I thought this would have is because I’m not the biggest fan of stainless steel bottles since they tend to be a bit heavier and easier to damage. That wasn’t the case though, what I thought would have been a con is actually a pro because I’ve had the bottle for about a month now and not a single dent. Also another perk for the stainless steel is that it keeps my drinks cold for such a long time, on a day where it was 30°C I put ice in the bottle with water and the ice lasted the entire day. There was still little pieces of ice when I went to refill, and the water was always ice cold every time I opened it to take a drink. All in all I would absolutely recommend this cup to anyone looking for a water bottle.

I absolutely love this water bottle! It is 40 ounces so it holds plenty of water and I don’t have to refill it as often. It has a large opening to fit any ice size. I like that the mouthpiece is covered so when it’s in your bag, it doesn’t get dirty. It completely seals and does not spill which is a priority to me. I like the straw and chug functions. I didn’t think that I would use the chug function but it’s nice when I get to the bottom where the straw no longer reaches so I can get the last bit of water. I really like the color of the white water bottle with the gray top. Sometimes the straw falls out which can be annoying but it doesn’t happen too regularly. It keeps my ice cold all night and into the next day so I don’t have any issues with my water becoming warm before I drink it, which is super important to me. I’ve had a lot of water bottles over the years and I am very picky so I do think that I found the best water bottle that works for me. I just need to figure out the best way to hold it so that way it doesn’t fall I’m drinking out of it.

If you are looking for a great water bottle that is well insulated- look no further. The greatest features of this water bottle is the spout to sip or chug, the lock that doubles as a carrying handle, and the ergonomic feel. We are huge HydroFlask fans and have man of them in our house but spending money on the different lids and attachments is an investment (the best hydroflask is the lightweight one!). We just wanted something easy new and affordable. The fact that my hand doesn't get fatigued holding it is nice, whereas with my Hydroflask I am often struggling when I get my kids or things out of the car. Great leakproof water bottle!

I went in to find a 24-ounce water bottle that doesn’t leak. I was going to purchase the same well-known brand with a closed cap and ended up discussing different options with the store manager. He pointed out this newer brand that advertises leak-proof bottles and also much cheaper than the brand I was originally going to purchase. He wanted me to try it out and bring it back if I was not satisfied. I am an airline pilot and deal with many pressure changes so being leak-proof is very important. It worked as advertised and I am very please with my purchase.Two items of note. If you are using anything carbonated, you need to “burp” the bottle and slowly release any pressure before opening the cap. I love this bottle

I usually rely on a water bottle to take me through the day and into a gym class or two. I don't like Camelbak (it feels like I'm drinking from a baby bottle), and Contigo bottles were generally lost on a contineous basis by my kids (no fault of Contigo). I received the yellow/orange Owala bottle for Christmas, and the first thing I loved was the color. It is so colorful, and I am all about adding/wearing color. My sunglasses are hot pink and neon yellow if that gives you any clue. But this is about more than looks. I really enjoy the multiple ways to drink from it. You can use the straw or pour. It works both ways, and I love it. It also keeps the water really, really, really cold. Oh, and it's machine washable. That's pretty awesome. No. Here are two of the biggest flaws: 1. You can't see how much water you have left. I'm used to Contingo, so I can always monitor when I need to grab more. This is a little harder. 2. It's too big for the cup holder. Obviously this isn't the end of the world, but you if need a water bottle that does fit, you may need to double-check your cup holder size. All in all, I love this Owala bottle and want to get more!

It must be love

What a thoughtfully designed item. Every detail is perfectly executed. This is like a brand-for-life moment for me. We have a cabinet full of water bottles, tumblers, and sippy cups. Most did their jobs, some were decent, and the majority were ok enough, but I could never seem to stop buying them hoping for something more. Seeing the current hype over a competitor brand’s quenchers, I saw the owala bottle mentioned several times. I bought the other brand for myself and two of these for my kids. The quality of these are far superior. I’ll be returning the other and purchasing a larger size owala for myself. I do wish they had a version with a large handle on the body of the bottle, but other than that, this is one of the most perfectly designed items I’ve used.

It stays securely closed so I'm not worrying about it leaking in bags, packs or my purse.The integrated straw is not what I expected, but it's also MORE than I expected. This is unusual in the metal water bottle world and is a very welcome addition to my collection!The push-button combined with the click-in-place handle keeps the lid closed and locked. The only downside is that you have to open the handle if you want to carry it, but in this case I guess you don't need it locked (push-button still closes the lid in this case).The powder coat finish is nice. I have the all white bottle, which I wouldn't necessarily recommend for outdoor use as I already have some marks on it that I can't remove, but it's not a deal breaker at all.The only negative I have is that the bottom isn't quite flush and there's a slight rocking whenever I set it down on a hard surface. It's very subtle, yet I still tend to double-check that I haven't set it on something unstable.

Sure, I have to fill it up more that if I had the 32 oz, but I don’t mind! 7. MANY PARTS=EASY TO CLEAN There are a couple parts to the Owala water bottle that make it easy to clean. You can take out these parts, so it truly feels clean when washed. CONS: 1. CONDENSATION ON THE CAP Now, this is THE ONLY CON to this water bottle. And frankly, I don’t even consider it much or a con. I’ve noticed that the plastic cap on the top sweats a little bit when there is very cold water inside. I’m sure this also happens with other bottles, and it doesn’t bother me much at all. OVERALL: I say, if your not 100 percent sure yet, GET IT. It truly changed my hydration game for the better. DO IT!
