When this toy was brand new and my rabbit wanted to wall himself off from the rest of the world, he'd crash in this tunnel. (And he has a few other hiding spots in his enclosure.) And when he figured out he could tear into it, it gave him a lot of entertainment value. He'd go on jags where he was dead focused on destroying the tunnel, which was always fun to watch. I'm waiting for him to finish off his first tunnel before I buy him a second. He's really enjoyed this product.

The product held up fine but my guinea pigs seemed completely uninterested in hiding in/chewing on it until I put some normal loose hay *inside* of it. Then one of them got a piece of the tunnel's rigid material lodged in her eye and I had to take her to the vet. Definitely not worth the investment. Will stick to more "permanent" materials for tunnels going forward.

Definitely not her favorite, but my bun seems to like it. It’s definitely a little pricy for what it is, especially because she hardly uses it. She will run through it some times, but I definitely could have gone without purchasing it. Seems like good quality though, and in other reviews it seems as if some other pets like it. It also seems as if it may be a little small for some bunnies, my bunny fits well, but that’s most likely because she is still less than 3 months old.

I put this in with a mother rabbit and her litter of 10 when they were about 5 weeks old. The little ones loved racing through the tunnel and climbing on it. Momma liked to chew and toss it. The babies started chewing on it a little by the end too. Seems like it was enjoyed by all. Lasted about two weeks before being completely unraveled. I was able to cut the big strands off as it unwound and give them as treats to other rabbits. A win for everyone!
While I like having such hideaways and tunnes for my cavies to run through, I tend to feel that the ones that do not have floors in them are the best over time due to sanitary reasons. I have found that over the many years of having my Guinea Pigs that simply repurposing some of the cardboard boxes that you get in the mail by cutting opeings in them and sometimes even reinforcing the sides a bit, make for the very best hideouts as they not only can have the floors cut away to allow for easy cleanup, but also they provide much needed chewying material right at the source or where your cavies tend to hide in. I am always looking for something new and fun for my chinchillas to have in their cage. They spent some time playing inside the tunnel. Then they spent the last week having fun tearing it apart and it is only 3/4 apart. It's really great for them to have something new and interesting to do to keep them active and having fun. Being made out of all natural hay, it is really safe for them also which is very important to me.
This tunnel is a huge hit among both my guinea pigs and chinchilla. They love hiding in it, running through it, and chewing it. I'm happy that it's safe for them to chew and big enough so they won't get stuck. It's perfect!
They refused to chew on any of it, and all they did was break it apart and then lay on pee on and poop on the rest of it. They did not try to nibble on it or anything. I will not be buying this for them again.
I bought this for my 2 guinea pigs. I understand they're able to chew it and it wouldn't last forever, but the entire thing is almost unraveling and I'm cutting sections off almost every day. I'd be surprised if this thing lasts a month, which isn't great for the price. Won't purchase again.
This isn't their first timothy tunnel, and Oxbow is a very good brand. My piggies incorporate this tunnel into their zoomies, and chew it until it's destroyed. I just have to add a waterproof liner to the bottom because they pee in it. If Oxbow would make one like this that's an open-bottomed arch, that would be awesome.
