This herb keeper really does keep my herbs fresher for longer. I've had mine now for about 4 weeks and immediately placed parsley into it. It's great to pick what I need and 4 weeks later, the parsley is as fresh and crisp as when I bought it. An amazing product!

I actually like this product and it does keep my coriander and herbs fresh a little longer than usual. However, my only qualm about it is the lid. There is no catch or suction to close the lid properly so if you have herbs that are longer than the container, the lid doesn't close at all which is annoying.

Fresh for weeks!

This herb keeper really works well. I keep my parsley in it with a little water in the bottom and it's as fresh today as when I bought the herb over a week ago. Beautiful. The keeper is a bit larger than I had anticipated, but it's worth the extra fridge space. It'll keep other fresh cut herbs as well; planning on keeping some of my rosemary fresh this winter.

Great for storing microgreens!!

I originally bought this 2 years ago for the intended purpose. I would forget that I had herbs or they'd fall in the water so I stopped using it.Recently started buying fresh microgreens at my father's market. They'd keep in my frig for 2-3 days. Something the vendor said made me wonder if I could repurpose the herb saver to save the tender microgreens. Huge success- they kept for almost 2 weeks. Here's the trick. Fold a paper towel and put in the bottom where you would normally put water. Loosely fill the cage with your greens. Don't overpack. Before putting lid on fold another paper towel and lay it over the basket. Amazed how well this works. My fresh cilantro from farmer market lasted 2 weeks instead of just a few days in other methods I have tried. Basil also from farmers market stayed fresh for just over a week when I used the last of it. Had to get the smaller herb keeper from somewhere else - hope BB&B will start carrying smaller version too.

It really works

We used to store our cilantro it in the fridge in a ball jar with water and a plastic bag over. In several days the cilantro would begin to spoil. I just checked on the cilantro we put in the OXO herb keeper about a week ago and it actually looks better than when we bought it. This is our first use of the saver so I can't give a long term rating but at this point it seems almost miraculous. Its not very expensive so I'd say give it a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Nice container for storing herbs and vegetables

I like the size of this for herbs from farmers' market. Also, the idea to use for storing asparagus standing - as it should be - prompted me to purchase. Was surprised it looks like the OXO Greensaver containers but this one has no carbon filter venting but perhaps that is because herbs are so fragrant. Regardless love the size and the functionality of this product. OXO rarely misses!

You Need the OXO Greensaver Herb Keeper

I ordered two of the OXO Greensaver Herb Keepers to use in the door storage of my French Door refrigerator. At first glance they seemed a bit large, but two of them fit perfectly on the door shelf AND items placed on top of them stay there, they do not fly off when the door is open. The best part is fresh herbs last twice as long as when stored in the vegetable drawer. I definitely recommend these Herb Keepers.

Thought I had wasted my money at first. Initially when I pulled it out of the box I thought it was going to be too large for my fridge but not so. It keeps herbs beautifully for a long time and doesn't go brown and mushy in the centre of bunch because there is a bit airflow happening. I find the green strainer is great to place the herbs in and be washed over the sink.
