I bought two more of these because I liked first one so much.They go into my counter-top utensil crock easily as they have no shapes on their handles to catch on other utensils. They've been sturdy so far, and are easy to hold. Handles are long enough to keep your hands away from your heat source,always a good thing! OK, bear with me here: the bowl looks smaller than it really is. All ladles I've ever had were harder to use, especially at low levels of liquid. This one's so much easier to fill and doesn't spill! It's the shape, hard to describe. It's shaped sort of "backhanded". OXO brand. What more can I say?

Very disappointed as it melted after a few uses. Only have used it to cook eggs on a non-stick pan. Feel it should have been more durable than that! Oxo is typically a good brand so maybe was defective.
I was looking for a nylon spoon to use in a non-stick pot. These looked right but no measurements were given for how long the spoon is. I ordered anyway, hoping they would be long enough to reach into a crock pot and not as short as a soup spoon. This could be added to the description. Even when I called Customer Service, they couldn't help me with the measurement. Also, the item I received does not look like this. It is an OXO spoon, but a different model, with a small silver logo near the handle. Still acceptable. Get the photos right too, OK?

I'm going to return this. It's nylon but it seems about as hard as a metal ladle. Doesn't seem it will be all that gentle on non stick surfaces. The handle is nice and long and the grip is comfortable, but I bought this so I wouldn't scuff up the inside of my good pans.

I haven't used this item yet, but have purchased good grips before and know they will do the job. oxo good grips produce uniformly practical tools, which are comfortable and work well for those with less powerful grips. I would recommend the brand unreservedly.
Bought this after buying a disappointing rubber-smelling, flimsy silicone ladle elsewhere. This was much better! Sturdy, heat resistant and easy to clean. Happy with this purchase.
