I have the old version with an adjustable length handle. I could reach under the couch and sweep things out. I used it for years and loved it. I wanted a second one and thought that was what I was getting.This has a handle that it too short. (i am 5'2""). You must hunch over to use it just to sweep the floor right in front of me. I am throwing it away.

It saves getting the Dyson snarled up with larger pieces of debris or more dirty pieces.It stores flat in a streamlined way with the tray folding up onto the handle so it can fit in a tall narrow space. I wouldn't use any other dust pan and brush. Use it daily for the cat litter tray areas and have another for general house use. It's very lightweight and easy to store. It can be hung on a hook in a cupboard or neatly placed against a wall. Best I've ever had because it's very easy to use and sweeps up perfectly because the pan lip is so low to the ground, one sweep and it's in the pan. Brilliant!
great broom set. the one issue is the clip on the dustpan which allows to to be stored with the broom attached is in the wrong spot. it needs to be moved up about 2 inches, and there doesn't seem to be any way to adjust it. I bought this broom set with the Expandable On-The-Wall Organizer. the broom and dustpan cannot be hung on this organizer together because this clip is in the wrong position. the clip aligns directly with the orange connector on the broom. you can make it so the clip is slightly below the orange connector but if you do this and hang it on the wall the dustpan just slides right off the broom. In order to be able to actually hang them together the clip on the dustpan needs to be just slightly ABOVE the orange connector. I bought a second one of these for another part of my house because I'm pretty happy with it, but it's not perfect. They should investigate some ergonomic improvements for the handle - I end up wanting to hold it below the handle to get better control. Because of the size of this product, I don't recommend this to replace a full size broom (you'll get a sore hand and/or back). This is really nice for small jobs - you don't have to bend over to sweep debris into the dustpan, and the dustpan lays flat against the floor so I can get all the dirt into the pan. I use it to keep my cat's litterbox areas under control (quick sweep maybe once a day) - works best (and most comfortable) for me to carry the dustpan part with me and sweep into the pan as I go.
I absolutely recommend this Large Sweep Set with Extendable Broom, it's super practical, the two things I use the most when cleaning my house come together, I love that the broom sweeps small trash very well and the dustpan picks up all the dust from the floor perfectly, I like that the dustpan has a place to fit the broom and so they are stored more easily. They are excellent quality, durable, I loved the color and their design, it makes them look elegant and modern. What I liked the most is that the broom can be made small for when my daughters help me and it is perfect for them and it becomes bigger for when I use it! This set is perfect!

I really like that the broom in this set has an extendable handle to make it a full size broom. It makes it so much easier to sweep when fully extended. The dustpan is really nice too. It has a rubber strip on the front that helps it lay flat on the floor so when you're sweeping debris into it, nothing goes under it and it all goes into the dustpan. It also has teeth that you can run the broom through to remove and hair, etc.
