Lovely wooden spoon. I recently upgraded my old wooden spoons with this one and others I purchased from POK. They are lovely quality and a much nicer finish than my old ones and they were an excellent price! Very happy with my purchase!

A Must Have For The Kitchen!!

This is a wonderful edition to your utensil collection. It is very sturdy and well made but will not scratch up your expensive cookware. Unlike smaller cheaper utensils, this OXO Spoon gets into corners of pots and pans and does a great job scooping everything out effortlessly.Please be mindful of the instructions that say NOT to put it in the dishwasher so that it lasts a long time. You can never beat OXO Brand quality. I will be getting the OXO Turner as well as the entire OXO Wooden Utensil Collection soon!!

Honestly, I love wooden spoons and this large wooden spoon is great. I love that it’s deep enough to scoop up your meats but also deep enough to have a taste of your soups/chili. This spoon is more durable than my other wooden spoons after washing and drying them. You can tell in my picture how much bigger and wider the head of the spoon is. Even the color after washing them. I would definitely recommend getting this wooden spoon.

Great spoon!

I actually have never owned a wooden spoon before until I got this one. I actually really like it! I like the fact I can use it and it doesn't scrape my pots and pans. The spoon handle is comfortable in your hands to hold because of its oval like shape and the spoon part isn't to deep but yet deep enough to pull out the soup or whatever your cooking to taste it or to serve. I thought maybe the spoon would be harder to clean since it was made out of wood but, it wasnt at all. I think I will be adding some more of these to my kitchen utensils.

It really is large

I was in need of a new wooden spoon after my dog decided one of my existing wooden spoons was a great chew toy. I selected this one as a replacement. It is large. I’m used to more svelte, slender, elongated wooden spoons. Length wise, this one is a little longer and it is chunky and broad. In my opinion it has specific uses in the kitchen and is not as universal as my other wooden spoons due to its size. In true Oxo fashion, the quality is top notch. I just find its size a bit cumbersome.

Large Wooden Spoon

This is my favorite kitchen spoon! Its hefty and has an incredible weight to it! It is great for making sauces and stir fry's and so many other things. It doesn't abuse my pans; a lot of utensils like to scratch my pans and these do not. I like the way the feel in my hand and make me feel more confident while cooking. The spoon even has a nice "spoon hole" space for scooping plenty of sustenance. I really love this spoon.

Makes cooking easy!

This large wooden spoon has become a necessity in my kitchen since receiving it. It has a large handle that is easy to grip and use while cooking. I like the fact that it doesn't scratch the bottom of my pots and skillets. It is well made and very sturdy. The ease of using it makes it reliable for me to use while cooking. The price point is very affordable and I would recommend to others if they are looking for a well made and affordable wooden spoon for easy cooking.

Now this is a mixing spoon!

This is a great mixing spoon for all you bakers out there. Oh, you can use it to stir soup or stew, but baking is where this really stands out. This is a hefty piece of solid wood that looks almost too big to use. But get it in your hand and you can feel how well balanced it is. Great for mixing up anything from a smooth quick bread batter to a stiff chocolate chip cookie dough. This feels like it could last a lifetime.

The perfect heavy, well crafted wooden spoon!

I've use a lot of enamel cast iron cookware and I'm always weary of using utensils that could harm the enamel coating, but also hated how easily wooden spoons could be stained with red sauce, so I've been using a lot of plastic utensils, which I don't really prefer. I have been using this spoon for about two weeks now and I love it! It's quite hefty and even after an all day Sunday Gravy, it was stain free! A quick wash and all bits that had clung to the neck of the spoon were gone instantly, and it dried without getting that gooey wet wood feeling. Super sturdy, VERY hardy.

It's almost too large. It's heavy and I would not consider it lightweight at all. I have not found it to splinter or break off in any way so I think it is of a very high quality. The problem is that it is just too big for my purposes. I've found that using it bigger cooking areas like the Instant Pot serves a better purpose for me than using it in frying pans. It is large enough to pick up various sizes of meat. I have washed it both in the dishwasher and by hand and it is easy to clean. If you need a really large, sturdy spoon that this may be a good option for you.
