Great kitchen tool, durable and easy to use.Mashes any soft food in seconds.The cleaning part is not a big deal: with a couple of kicks on the sides of the bowl, hot water and long-bristled brush there is no left much place to complain.Dishwasher's top rack friendly.My mother-in-law used it once and asked me to get one for her (on my list of life's achievements it's like getting an Oscar).

A masher for use in enamelled cast iron cookware!

The Oxo Good Grips Nylon Potato Masher scores well for us. It won't scratch quality cookware, it handles its job of mashing, & its open fingers are simple to clean (& it's quite stable to stand on its end). We couldn't find such a masher in regular stores. We don't know why it takes 7 days before our order is sent, but Australia Post is excellent in their service. Email queries are answered too slowly, but the overall purchasing experience is worthwhile. Everten has business sense.

Excellent mashing

Handle is sturdy and comfortable to hold. Easy to clean. The holes on the masher is good size for mashing and to make the potatoes mash well and be smooth

Great Product

Great masher!! Works Very Well! Potatoes come out really smooth and creamy! FAR better than my last masher! Just need to put in water right after use, so don't have to work on getting leftover mash out of crevices — but is really not a hassle, especially given how well it works! In general, I have enjoyed and gotten value for money from this brand. (Their peeler has lasted me 20 years!)

I have bought this masher to replace another that just didn't mash well. I also use it to break up mince as it fries. I love oxo utensils.

Lumpy mashed potatoes, useless for beans

You can throw all your elbow grease into the effort, but this masher will reward you with nothing but lumpy potatoes and intact beans. Throw in all the milk and butter you like, but you'll never be able to get the smaller bits that slide through the grate until you find the lumpy bits in your mouth. What a bummer, I love OXO and this looks good and is built well. It's just useless.

Ergonomic and effective. Mashes really well and feels good to use. Not too bulky in the drawer either.

Quality Potato Masher

Good quality potato masher. Had purchased another, much cheaper brand elsewhere. Was so unhappy with it, I went looking for a better quality item. Very sturdy and easy to wash by hand or in the diswasher.

Solid masher

Solid dependable masher. This is my second one in 10years, so they do last a while. I've tried other types and nothing compares.

[Rewarded Review] Old school, efficient masher

"Old school masher' I used it for all my mashing needs for Thanksgiving dinner and is much easier ti use than the plate with numerous holes. The OXO handle kept mashing comfortable.
