After having so many kitchen utensils fall apart, I decided to only purchase OXO brand kitchen utensils. These are sturdy and wash up well. I don't find the issue of handle separation or cracking like I do with other brands. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Absolutely love your turners, we now have 3 in the kitchen, bought 2 more. Recently we only had one, the handle had broken, called the company and received a replacement within 3 days, Awesome warranty and customer service, thx.
On our third one, we use for cooking eggs on non-stick griddle. The edge constantly melts and flakes presenting a danger to the food. If they allowed images I would post them.
I've read other complaints stating the same - I believe there to be a quality control issue with these black materialed utensils. There's flaking, black material at the tips and it was easily marked/scratched by simply flipping bacon. Company refused to replace all black materialed utensils. Will never buy OXO nylon items again.
This the second one of these I have purchased. Ergonomically and size wise it was perfect the first time but I left it on the frying pan. The very top wide edge of the slice melted and came away leaving a black strip of plastic in with the mushrooms I was cooking. Probably my fault but normally it would be the handle that would suffer if resting on the edge of the pan. I was a bit surprised but couldn't see I had grounds to return it. I bought this second one some weeks after and hopefully this won't happen again. I must be more careful but I thought it would withstand the heat in the pan itself.
Excellent tool, flexible and durable. Thin enough to get under and egg without breaking it.Superb service from 0XO when I needed a replacement.
He was frustrated by it always being in the dishwasher - so now we have two. And they are both excellent. It's not melt-proof, but it's perfect for non-stick and is a lot nicer than wood for lifting anything delicate.Definitely recommend.
I can't believe an OXO product can be this terrible. Every other item I own of theirs is top notch. This turner, after only a couple of uses,already looks like it's been beaten up. The nylon is fraying at the top, splintering and looks like it melted in the pan. So sorry I bought it. I thought it was silicone but I now realize it's nylon. A waste of my money.
It’s a spatula and exactly what you’d expect from one. It gets 4 stars cause the inside of holes can sometimes get food stuck and it has melted a tiny little bit already.
