These cereal keepers are short and long, but not too wide making them great space saver on shelves. The lids and seals come apart completely for washing. The lids click shut for a tight seal to keep the contents fresh until they are used up. The rocker style top is a little stiff, but even kids could do it.

I bought a set of two pf these containers more or less four years ago some other place. I love them so much, that whiting the beginning of the pandemia, when I was in need to storage more food. I ordered this new set in BB&B.They ALL still looking new, no scratches or signals of wear at all. I use them for sugar, rice, cereal, beans, flower, etc. The seal in all of them still working great, keep food fresh and organized and beautiful in my pantry. I love the way the system opens and pours directly to your pots or measuring cups. I keep mine clean with warm solution of water and kitchen soap once in a while, dry over the counter. Buy them, you will not regret!!!

Excellent product

What an excellent design this is. Oxo Good Grips products seem to be of a consistently good quality and this is no exception. The simplicity and effectiveness of the pop-up lid which then closes to seal the container is very good and the shape of the front makes cereal easy to pour. We use this size to hold 625g Bitesize Shredded Wheat. So much better than just folding down the bag inside an open box.

Great Quality Cereal Container

Looks nice, but cumbersome and bulky

I bought the cereal containers for two purposes:1. Reorganizing the pantry2. Help my 4 year old gain some independenceThey fit right in with the aesthetic and hold a fair amount of the family sized cereal boxes.When it comes to function, the family (age 4 to 34) has some difficulty working the pop top and controlling how much cereal pours out at once.

I bought these based on the good reviews so Im a bit disappointed Yes theyre good quality but they dont hold as much cereal as I need. Theyre good for a small family but I have 4 kids and they only hold 1.5 boxes of cereal each. For that price I thought they would be bigger.

I just got these to store my flours and grains and I love them. The largest one is perfect for a standard 5lb bag of flour. I have one for each of our Whole Wheat, Unbleached AP, Bread, Rice, Glutinous Rice, and Almond Flours. Also great for Dried goods like pasta and shitake mushrooms. The smallest ones arent super useful but I do use one for serving raw sugar. Easy to use and keeps the pantry beautifully organized. I hope they last forever

I do think that OXO makes excellent products. I always felt that these sealed well and for short term storage they do. I do not know if this was a one timeone container issue, but I put a sealed container in the refrigerator for about 4 days. When I went to use it, it was obvious that there had been some small air leak. I would just be aware and check any food that may be sensitive to air leaks. This possibility is the only reason that I would not recommend this particular product.

Quality product

I’d been looking fir a cereal dispenser for my porridge which never seemed to pour very well from its box. Supermarket dispensers never seemed to have the right ‘feel’. I eventually purchased the Lakeland Pop dispenser and wasn’t disappointed. I could immediately feel the quality, it poured very well and the ‘pop’ opening and closing was fantastically easy. Very happy and will buy more Pop dispensers!

This is truly the best cereal container!

Now that I have a cereal container, and it is easier to use, as it is slim in design and upright, I am very satisfied! The ease of use of the pour opening and the snugness of the fit so that critters don't get into the container is truly well made! The only thing that I would suggest is that you make sure to dry wipe the area where you pour the cereal out....I could see if your home is slightly moist, like having the windows open for air exchange, that might create a film over the area where the cereal gets poured. Plus, cereal likely will have sugar, and that will attract sugar ants, so simply dry wipe after each use and that's it!
