I've been making my own salad dressings (and marinades) for years, so this product is just what I need. This salad shaker is well-made and easy to use, just as you'd expect from an OXO product. Until now, I've just been using old glass jars to mix my dressings. That works pretty well--until you try to pour the dressing, and it drips all over the place. The only drawback with this shaker is that it lacks the mixing ball or stirrer that some other products have. This means that this shaker doesn't do a good job of mixing thicker dressings, like creamy dressings. You'll really have to stir them up with a whisk or a fork (or an immersion blender) if you want to get them to mix thoroughly. That's not a dealbreaker for me because I don't make a lot of creamy dressings. And I'm still going to need to use my immersion (stick) blender if I want to completely blend dressings with things like chopped shallots or herbs. For most other dressings and marinades, however, this salad shaker does a great job without any mess.

FINALLY A DRESSING BOTTLE I CAN CLEAN

I cannot say how frustrated it has been looking for salad dressing bottles than can actually be cleaned adequately and work well. This is perfect. Unscrew for ingredients and to clean. Re-screw, close stopper, and shake with *zero* leakage. Open stopper to pour.This should be so simple. Why is Oxo the only one who figured this out?

This dressing shaker is absolutely fantastic. I was a little leery given that it's plastic and not glass. Not a factor. It's very heavy and solid. All the threads fit tight so no leaks ever. Cleans up super easy. AND… it pours great. Never actually thought about before, it but it lets you drizzle your dressing nice and evenly all over your salad. Excellent dressing container!

Great little bottle!

This is a great bottle for mixing and making your own dressings, sauces, and spice mixes. On one side of the bottle are the measurements for fractions of a cup. On the other side is measurements for both ounces and milliliters. The top unscrews to make a wider-mouth opening which is plenty large enough for measuring spoons to drop into and a small spatula if making a thick sauce. Both the cap and the top of the bottle seal wonderfully for shaking things up without leakage. I make my own taco seasoning and this bottle is perfect for dry mixing and pouring as well.

Great salad dressing shaker. Have been making my own salad dressing concoctions for a few years now and have two (one small and one larger) of these salad dressing shakers, one I have in the fridge with dressing the other in the cabinet ready to use when the other one is empty and needs to be run through the dishwasher. Nice product.

Lovely gadget

I first saw this at a friend's house, and was really impressed: you can make a good dressing in advance in this clever little piece of kit and store it in the fridge, and not only does the design allow you to shake it easily before using it, and to pour it without dripping, it looks fantastic on the table and the clever opening system is a pleasure to use. Thank you for having it, Lakeland; and not only that, having it in a beautiful green! We hope to get many years of use of of it.

Even so, I would highly recommend this shaker to anyone looking for an easy, ergonomic, mess-free salad dressing mixer.

Perfect accessory to the salad department.

Love this cute and functional container. I usually make my dressings in a mason jar. But then, the jar lid rusts, it dribbles, and always needed cleaned where it is stored. This little gem has measurements on the container, a wonderful closeable pouring spout, easy to clean, easy to store. I am very satisfied.

Firstly I have to admit to being a fan of OXO products. I do have quite a few. This though is an excellent bit of kit. Gone are the days of using an old condiment jar and spilling half the contents out. This keeps all the ingredients in place and with a shake mixes them up very well and no leaks. It also looks pretty cool on the dining table next to the salad.
