I needed a longer set of tongs as my smaller ones weren't enough for certain tasks. These aren't heavy in weight but you can certainly pick up pieces of meat well. I have small hands but I can handle these well. I am glad I got these.

I love these tongs. The only drawback is because they are metal they will mark the enamel interior of your cast iron cookware. I would imagine they would also scratch non-stick cookware.

We use these tongs to flip most things in the oven and also for getting things from high up in the cupboards! They are comfortable to use, feel sturdy and good quality. I think they are good value for money.

I bought this as a gift for my nephew, along with some other barbecue items. These work great when you’re grilling. My husband has been using these for years. It saves your hands and arms from the heat of a gas or charcoal grill! Plus they handle any size meat you’re grilling.
Not grilling much but when I saw wanted my husband to have a good set of tongs to use on the grill. The reviews were good and they appeared good quality, I liked the pull at the end allowing open/close believing if left closed when not in use the ends wouldn't slide out of alignment. NOT SO. Just a few uses 4-5, the ends no longer meet properly and do cause problems when cooking. What good are tongs if don't touch at tips and allow better control?
I have purchased a lot of OXO products simply because theyhold up with lots of wear and tear. Also, they are great for have arthritis because of their design.
These are longer tongs that are perfect for grilling because you can reach your food without putting your hand over the fire. I have used these tongs for a long time, they are super durable. Their ability to hang onto food or whatever else is amazing.
I wonder how I got along in the kitchen without them! Nicely constructed. Great at the bbq and for turning any fried or sauteed food. Love them!! Highly recommended.
