I lurvvve this squeegee🩷. I like that the blades are silicone not rubber. Hard to find silicone blades. I also like the swivel hook on the handle so I can hang it in the shower as I wipe the shower glass after every shower to stop that horrible, cloudy build up of calcium on the glass which you can’t remove if you let it build up.

I've had a squeegee in my shower for as long as I can remember. Heck, I'm in my 60s, and we had squeegees in our showers growing up. So when it came time to replace my latest squeegee (an OXO) that I'd had for maybe 10 years, I looked at what OXO had done in the meantime. My old one: a suction cup thingee you stick on your tile shower surround, and the squeegee is sort of impaled on that through a hole below the blade. It did a good job, but the suction cup would maybe come unattached every month or so (more frequently as time went on), I came across this one, that simply hook onto the pipe your shower head is attached to, and thought "If this works, then no more clattering falls of squeegee! Besides, it's so inexpensive, what've I got to lose?" Well, this is a ... MoreI've had a squeegee in my shower for as long as I can remember. Besides, it's so inexpensive, what've I got to lose?" Well, this is a great squeegee. It's slim (so it fits under the handles on my shower doors, letting me get to places my old squeegees never could). It's wide (wider than my last OXO squeegee, by maybe 2-3 inches, meaning that instead of 4 swipes needed on each panel of my shower surround with my old squeegee, I only need 3). And it's got a little flex in the blade (unlike my last OXO which was a bit beefy to make the whole "impale" storage option work), so it produces a really clean/dry result. And then there's the way it stores: out of the way, discreetly, no suction cup to fall. (The only downside might be if you have a lot of paraphenalia already hanging off your shower head [which I don't]. If so, this "one more thing" might not work for you.) I know it's just a squeegee, but I'm very happy. So happy,

I had an IKEA shower squeegee that I used for a couple years, but found it left gray scratch marks on my white shower tiles and it was hard to scrape the shower doors all the way to the shower curb. Also the edges of the squeegee never really scraped the water away effectively along the edges of the vertical shower frame. .i just thought this is how shower squeegees were. I only bought the OXO squeegee cause it has a built in hook and the IKEA one doesn’t. OMG when I used the OXO squeegee the first time, I was amazed! it glided across the glass so easily and did a 100% better job removing water. (I have other IKEA items that I love, so not knocking the store).

I purchased this squeegee in my local BB&B store in 2017. It's really been a great squeegee at a modest price! My shower has textured slate tiles, so suction cups won't hold. This is the the only squeegee that I know of that has a built-in hook. The hook is perfectly sized for the neck of my shower head, but—as the product page shows—you can alternatively hang it from a caddy. After four years of good use, the hook broke off. I was doing my routine post-shower wipe at the time—nothing excessive. It has the thinnest plastic connector. A bit of a cheep spot. Other reviewers have mentioned the hook breaking as well, but I wanted to attach a photo to show the exact failure mode. I contacted OXO and they quickly made it right with me, despite mine being four years old. ... MoreI purchased this squeegee in my local BB&B store in 2017. I contacted OXO and they quickly made it right with me, despite mine being four years old. I love their customer service. They need to redesign the retention ring that holds the hook to the handle, though.Otherwise, I love it. The handle is ergonomic and the blade is quality silicone that will last for years.
Have been using this squeegee to wipe down our glass shower door for the last three years. It is lightweight and the perfect size for this job, but unfortunately it sometimes only lasts 5 to 6 months, at which time the blade starts breaking away from the handle. So we've gone through 3 of them so far. Oxo customer service replaced the last one for us so the warranty is legit.
Love this squeegee. Perfect size. This is my 2nd one. I bought it as a backup replacement . The first one I’ve been using for 8+ years is beginning to wear out so I wanted another one. The only downside to my first one was that the hook broke off the first year of use but I used a clear silicone waterproof caulk to glue it back on and that has held and worked for years. I’m sure I’ll love this 2nd one as much.
Replaced the existing blade with a new unit. The new squeegee does not remove water from the shower doors. It streaks and leaves behind a cloudy film. No better than the unit I replaced. Do not recommend this product.
This is the second time I have bought this particular squeegee. I only bought it this time because my first one finally gave out. The squeegee edge had been used so many times it finally wore out and needed to be replaced. I thought about trying a different squeegee but it would not have done as good a job as this one does. This particular squeegee traps the water and really does wipe it off the glass- just as it's supposed to! The hook that's built in really works well so you can hang it over the shower itself- which we do- or over a different place to keep it out of the way. Now for the problem: IT SQUEAKS!!! When I use this new squeegee on the shower glass it makes a squeaking sound that the older one did not. It must be the plastic edge when it connects with the glass, but it makes an awful sound and the older one did not. It's so loud it could wake a small child. So, if you have small children take this into consideration if you are thinking of purchasing. Otherwise this is a really good squeegee!
The squeegee end on this device works just fine. The other end with the hook, in order to hang it up to dry, fell off within the first week of using. It doesn’t screw in, just pushes in place but will not stay put. I’m surprised as usually all OXO utensils I’ve had hold up beautifully.
I bought three, one for each shower and one for the kitchen by the sink. I use it to wipe spills and water from around the sink back into the sink. So much better than wasting paper towels or using a reg towel. I picked up the idea when I lived overseas. Not sure why it’s not more common in the USA. Saves so much money from washing towels or throwing out paper towels. And works great. I also leave them in each bathroom shower and after the shower you wife down the glass. Pretty quick and keeps the maintenance down on using harsh chemicals to clean.
