I've bought over 10 of these fabulous storage containers in both sizes. Using them for cereals, flour, nuts, dried fruit, dry pet foods & tea lighter candles. Love the chrome kids and how well they keep everything airtight. This tall one fits perfect in a kitchen cupboard. Thanks John Lewis. Happy Customer!

This container was our first time trying one of the pop products and we love it. It gives a nice air tight seal to keep your items fresh. We use ours to hold our powdered vitamin c so it stays fresh. My husband even made a comment about how much he liked it and that we should get more. They are on the pricy side but they are excellent. They are so much easier to use than the older containers where you have to pry the lid out by the seal. I would highly recommend this to older people who may not have as much hand strength to use a different sealing product.

I have used this air tight container for so many different things because it works great! I have put coffee grounds in it, rice, sugar, flour and more to test out how well each one holds up! All of these things have stayed sealed air tight until the next use keeping them fresh and safe from any bugs. The container is a rectangle that is easy to hold in one hand and is the size of 1.7 quarts. The light fits snug into place and with the push of the button it locks until it is pushed again. I decided to try thin container with strawberries to see how well they would hold up in it and I was surprised the strawberries last twice as long as they would in the store bought container. Washing the container is simple I either hand wash or wash in the top rack of the dishwasher.
They make a really great organizational tool for my pantry. I can see all my nuts, grains, etc. for ideas for meal planning making everything easier. I always know when something needs to go on the grocery list since I can see how much is left. The new version doesn't quite match my old one but the sizes are perfect and blend in well. I bought this along with the OXO Brew Single Serve Pour-Over Coffee Maker 12 ounces, which is also perfect for my individual use as a new coffee drinker. The POP Container is the perfect size to hold a 12 oz bag of ground coffee, or more if you empty the bag into it. I love the steel finish, it gives out a more modern vibe and matches other stainless-type appliances in my kitchen. Looks good on the counter and is also the perfect size to hide away in the cupboard too. If you use it for coffee, be sure to get an OXO POP Container Coffee Scoop - it slides onto the bottom of the lid, very handy and impossible to lose! Enjoy :-)
I was looking for a canister that would work great but not look junky on the counter. This is both greatness and classy. It’s the perfect size to put cookies in when you’ve opened the box/bag but still have a few left or that little bit of cereal that is to small to still be in that big junky box sitting on the counter. After almost a week of being in this container the cereal is still fresh and taste like we just opened the box. I would definitely recommend this little canister and the company for all your canister buying needs. I will for sure be buying more in different sizes.

I will have to admit I'm quite a sucker for any type of storage container, and this storage container leave all other brands and types behind. The container and lid is super Sleek which has no issue fitting into any kind of kitchen. The latest super simple to use would just depress not even a heavy press of a finger the lid pops open and sealed shut when you're done. It's surprisingly hold quite a bit as I scored some crackers in mine and was very impressed if it the whole box. The crackers to not seem to get stale after a couple days which is greatly appreciated as some containers have issues with that apartment. I will definitely be looking into expanding I'm buying more different sizes of this brand. Oxo for the win!
