I eat lunch everyday in our office kitchen. I used to bring my own utensils, but at least once a week, I would wash them and then after they dried, I would forget to put them back in my bag. I found this great little addition to my lunch box! I like taking leftovers for my lunch but don’t really care for plastic utensils. I got this Prep & Go Utensils set with case made by OXO Good Grips and am so happy with it. It has a case and contains a full size knife, fork and a spoon. It’s easy to clean and is so handy to just tuck inside your lunch box. The utensils are made out of stainless steel. The case is durable and has a clear lid. I love this OXO Prep & Go Utensil set!

The OXO a stainless steel utensils with case are the best. What comes inside the case is a spoon, fork and knife. It’s pretty awesome that the utensils come with a case because it keeps your items clean, neat and in place, ready on the go. Also the case is lightweight and it’s good place to store the utensils for when traveling or when packing a lunch for work. It’s such a great set and has a very good quality plus are very easy to clean and safe to wash on a dishwasher. The case is also very easy to open. I would definitely buy myself another set and would recommend buying these utensils set because it can really come in handy and excellent for having them on your car for an emergency, especially when you have kids because they are always hungry.

I love this little utensil case. Perfect for throwing silverware in with my lunch each day for work. The silverware is decent quality and doesn't appear cheap or easily bendable. The case has a nice snapping mechanism to keep it closed so I don't have to worry about it popping open during transit. Inside the case, there are a few ridges near the bottom to keep the silverware all neatly stacked together. It appears that you have to stack them in the same order they came in to make them fit into the container, but that's not too big of a deal.
I really like having this, it’s fits easily in my purse, lunch bag, or anywhere I need to store it. It’s a great reusable option and all the parts are dishwasher safe, so it’s super easy to clean and maintain. I like the fact that’s it’s stainless steel and not a plastic set because whenever I would use disposable plastic utensils with my takeout meals or packed home meals, I would always worry about it either breaking in my food or melting in my hot foods, but with this OXO set that’s never a problem! I also like the fact that it’s adult size and looks good using it! That said, I would love to try a smaller version for my kids to keep in the school lunch bags!

There is a small, elevated area with raised sides inside the bottom of the case, which seems to hold the handles of the spoon, knife, and fork together, to prevent sliding around. The utensil handles have to be aligned almost too precisely to fit into this “clasp”, and it makes this product annoying to use. It would be better if the case could lengthen and shorten to hold other types or brands of utensils. It does not even hold the OXO brand utensils, easily. For example, if the spoon is put into the case first, then the knife, then the fork, the case will not close and the top stays open the most (see picture). If the fork is put in first, then the knife, then the spoon, the case still does not close completely, but less so. The knife has to be put into the case, either first or last, for the top for the case to close completely. The utensils are similar to metal utensils on airplanes. The handles are thin metal with squared edges, which are not very comfortable to hold. The bowl of the spoon is 1.5 inches wide, which is a bit too wide. The spoon bowl had squared, not rounded and smooth edges. I could feel the bowl abrading the inside of my mouth and stretching my upper lip. It was not comfortable to use to eat. It is a flat bowl, which does not hold thin liquids easily. The knife has small serrations, only on about 2/3 of the blade, and only on one side. It was smooth, like a butter knife on the other side. It cut a radish with difficulty, leaving large ridges. I compared the cutting ability to that of a plastic knife, which cut the radish smoothly and easily. The handle of the OXO knife has squared edges that are almost sharp and uncomfortable to hold. The tines of the fork are rounded, making it somewhat difficult to pick up food. Even a plastic fork has sharper tines. The product has a “1% for the Planet” label on it, which is an organization that encourages businesses to donate 1% of sales to environmental groups and focus on “issue categories,” such as the environment and pollution. However, since the case is plastic, it is contributing to environmental waste and pollution, was well. Overall, the product is poorly designed and is a poor container for the utensils provided and prohibits using other brands or types of utensils inside the case, as well. I do not recommend this product.

The Prep & Go Utensils with Case has a sturdy fork, butter knife, and spoon. The case provided convenient storage. The utensils are VERY sturdy! The size of the utensils are "normal" size and easy to use. This product was used by a ten-year old child for her lunch during summer camp. She was able to bring a fork for eating her crab and a spoon for eating her pudding. The case helped her remember to bring the utensils home. The butter knife was not sent with her to summer camp.The ten-year-old did report the carry case came open when the case fell on the floor.
