I've been on the look out for some sort of container to put a 5 pound bag of flour, sugar into. A container that had a wide enough mouth to put a measuring cup in, something to that would be air-tight and be able to fit onto my cupboard shelf. Well, I can tell you that this is it!! 5 pounds of sugar and flour fit perfectly!! Measuring cup, no problems, air-tight oh yeah!! There's a push-to-lock feature on the top and a rubber gasket around the lid so all of the dry powders stays dry. And it's not overwhelmingly large, its compact and fits into a small cupboard neatly.

Loves these containers.
I bought these as cereal containers for my 4 and 7 year old and it's worked great! The easy open lid is super simple for them to take off and replace. I added a 1/2 cup measuring cup for them to scoop out the cereal and it's been very helpful in allowing them to make breakfast before school in the morning.
I recently purchased this item to store baking items. Love that I didn't have to purchase a whole set to get this piece that I wanted. Love the see through container and the pop-up lid. Would buy again.
