As others have said, definitely the best litter system yet. No smell and with the original litter doesn't track and so easy to clean. Some people don't seem to realise that you should put pellets in the bottom tray which absorb the cat pee very well, going straight through the first layer leaving it dry, therefore only needing an occasional clean.

So glad we discovered this product. We have 4 indoor cats so odour control has always been top priority. We used clumping clay for years but finally got really fed up with how dusty it was. This wood litter hardly tracks at all, no dust, and has the best odour control of any litter that I have ever used in my 30+ years of cat ownership. The important thing about this litter is to use it with the sieve system that Oz Pet also makes. It will not work properly without it, as the pellets break down when wet and need to be able to be sifted into the bottom half by just giving it a shake once or twice a day. Just follow the clear, simple instructions that come with the litter system and you're gold. Thank you Oz Pet for this amazing product! Very happy customers here.

I read the reviews but thought I would risk it because I loved the Kmart pine litter and they haven't had it in stock for months. Been using standard wood litter since . I'm happy to say I have no idea why the others are having issues. Breaks down as expected. Maybe slightly faster than the standard wood. But this smells nice and piney . Yes it can be more can get more stinky than crystals if left. I find it tracks less than crystals around the house and I can put in in our green bin. As long as I use the shifter properly and regularly there isn't an issue with smell. So happy this is available been looking for pine again.

Have been using the pine litter recently, which tracks a little, but when the wood litter is back in manufacture, will revert back. Shame that the oz pet factory was flooded earlier this year. They produce great products here in Australia. Definitely recommend. Have used many other cat litter products - none compare to oz pet.
The little bullets of pine poor easily, but that's the best bit. The product disintegrates with urine, goes powdery. So the cats won't use it. Won't do poos in it either. Of course, they won't say why not π nope. I'll try another brand.
Recommend. So easy to discard cats toilet urine soils in my toilet, then rinse and dry tray. Then Shake in extra Oz Pet tray, then discard saw-dust & (poo in paper bag) in green waste bin. Easy Peasy! Would never change from this easy method to discard.
Didn't know that OZPet had been flooded. Wondered why it was sometimes hard to buy. SUPPORT THEM PLEASE! My cats choose it over other types of litter. (We always have kitty toilet choices at our place). The pine smells lovely but does need replacing a bit sooner than the traditional type. Yes, I recommend whole heartedly!
The Pine version is nice, but it doesn't seem to be quite as long lasting as the original version. It smells nice when the trays are freshly done. I will have either, as long as it is home delivered, and the choice of our kitty-cats. Resist the temptation to put too much in the bottom tray. I wonder what my neighbours think when I shake the trays through every Saturday morning at 9am. Easy process, economical and kitties are happy.
I switched to this product from crystals. Can't speak to how it compares to the other Oz Pet pellets, but I'm loving this in comparison to crystals! No urine smell and no more tracking painful crystals halfway through the house. I use it with a sifting tray and have no issue with the breakdown of the pellets or absorption of urine. Also seems super economical, especially compared to crystals. So glad I made the switch.
Used the original litter with the green writing but unavailable at present because the Oz Pet factory was flooded. The pine version isn't as good, but it's still way better than anything else I've used for my 20 year old cat. Don't write this business off. the pine product is still great. They need support while they rebuild. I wish them luck.
